Today, I got engaged to my boyfriend of three years. I made the announcement on my status on facebook so people would congratulate me. The only response I got about my engagement was from a girl I knew saying; "Umm, he didn't tell you he was cheating on you for three years with me?" FML

Today, I found out the guy I've been dating for 5 months is engaged to his girlfriend of 3 years. I found out as we were talking, waiting for him to come outside after work. FML
Today, my sister made her engagement official on Facebook. When I shared the post to spread the word, people didn't read her boyfriend's name, and I started getting questions on why my sister and I were getting married. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 years proposed without a ring. He told me he would get it once his divorce papers are final. I didn't know he was married. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 4 years proposed to me. I wasn't expecting anything too romantic, but I would have liked something more than an email from Facebook, requesting my confirmation that we were engaged. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 years announced that he is not ready for marriage, and won’t be for 'at least' another 2 years. Of course he waited to tell me this 2 days after he had proposed to me in front of hundreds of people, I said yes, and we announced it to all our family members and friends. FML

I'm willing to bet that was a joke, poster. I know that sounds like something I'd write, just to be goofy. Odds that it's a joke increase since she said they were having an affair for five years, while you were with him for three. Anyway, congrats on the engagement. YDI though, because honestly...call people. It's not that hard. facebook is not the be all and end all of life. I honestly can't stand when people rush home to update their facebook status or upload pictures or even worse PURPOSELY TAKE PHOTOS FOR FACEBOOK because they need to prove that they've got a life outside of the damn website or something.
