Today, I got a bad review on my work's Facebook page. The girl said I was very rude and I should never work with the public. I was trying to flirt with her. FML

Today, I was talking to this girl I really like at my work. Everything was going fine until our boss called me into his office. Apparently I was being a little too flirty with his daughter. FML
Today, my promotion at work was revoked and I was written up, all because some customer decided to write a negative review about me on Google. Apparently, I was “rude” to her and “rolled my eyes at her” and called her stupid. I never met this woman a day in my life, and they won’t believe me. FML
Today, I accidentally posted an extensive, negative review of the gynecologist I visited earlier this week. I messed up and posted it from my work's customer service email, so now it looks like the large, well-known company I work for had a poor gynecological experience. FML
Today, I tried to write a bad review for the fast-food place at which I work part-time. My username made me anonymous, but I forgot to change my profile picture. Now my manager and coworkers won't even speak to me. FML
Today, at work, we had an extremely rude customer who started cussing at us, and my coworker started cussing back. I jumped on the register to quickly bring down the line, and apologized to everyone for the scene. A secret shopper was in the line and claimed that I was rude. I got written up. FML
Today, I got written up by my line manager for being too friendly to customers. I work in retail, my job is to be friendly. FML
Today, at the hotel I work, I was at the pool folding towels. A girl comes in wearing a thong bikini bottom. Our rules prohibit thong swimsuits. When I pointed it out at her, she called me a “jealous fat bitch.” Turns out she left a one star review on Google, saying I was “rude” to her. I got written up. FML
Today, I rejected a girl I work with because I have a girlfriend. That girl then posted on Facebook that she'd friendzoned me for being creepy. My girlfriend saw the post, believed it, and dumped me. FML
Today, I asked one of the girls at work out on a date. She responded by filing a harassment complaint. Now, I can't speak to her at all without being written up. FML
Today, I got yelled at for providing horrible customer service, in a store I don't even work for. FML

You should never ever flirt with people on the job, neither customers or other employees. That's not appropriate in a work environment where you are supposed to be professional, and it also makes some customers uncomfortable and puts them in an awkward position.

Sorry, but she probably knew you were trying to flirt with her. Instead of saying that (and risking having to go through the mess of a sexual harassment complaint), she just called it bad service

This is why you should never try to flirt on the job. Most people consider it to be rude and unprofessional, Some even consider it sexual harassment, since you are taking advantage of the fact that the customer has no choice but to interact with you. You're lucky she didn't mention the unwanted advances - that could get you fired.

I don't think that is what happened. I think most other people read it as: 1) customer comes in and OP "flirts" with her, 2) customer goes and leaves bad review for OP on company Facebook page.

If that's all she did, you got off easy. The outcome could have been so much worse for you, but I hope you learned your lesson about flirting while on the job regardless.
