Today, I was watching TV with my boyfriend, when a World of Warcraft commercial came on. He turned to me and said, "Yeah, I'd choose the Horde over you any day." FML
Today, my boyfriend dumped me because he said the relationship was too tough for him. When I asked for an example, he responded, "Like, I don't have enough time to play World of Warcraft." FML
Today, after six months of dating, my girlfriend decided to break up with me because my "obsession" of being on the computer and playing games all the time was cutting into "our time". She then told me to "get a life" and never wanted to see me again. She told me all of this on WoW. FML
Today, it became apparent that my boyfriend only showers when he levels up on World of Warcraft. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I broke up. He said it was because he wanted to 'do his own thing'. So gaming 24/7 like he has for the past two years of our relationship, then. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me after 2 years of being together. The reason? I don't enjoy playing video games as much as he does. FML
Today, I realized that my husband has a video games addiction. I am currently pregnant; he brought us to the same country he's in so we can finally live together, only for me to witness him being glued to his laptop all day and all night playing WoW. He's forgotten I even existed. FML
Today, after weeks of my yelling, my boyfriend finally listened and got a hobby. Instead of getting into something sensible like martial arts, he chose tabletop gaming. Now I have to listen to hours of boring stories about pretend fantasy worlds, and admit to everyone that my boyfriend is a nerd. FML
Today, my husband quit his job as a university professor and picked up the graveyard shift at a rat farm so he could have more time during the day to play World of Warcraft. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me. He said it was because his online gaming friends don't like it when I ask him to spend time with me. FML

Of course it makes him happier, he's a guy. There's and endless supply of male alter egos he can play, not to mention the gorgeous half naked females of every species running around. (The same goes for girls who play it too I guess...I don't know, I've never played it :) Guys, if want the girl (the real one), PAY ATTENTION TO HER. Is it really that hard?? You could avoid all these ultimatums if you'd just treat the your girlfriend/wife/mistress right. Normally they're a last resort for when all else has failed... OP I hope you at least talked it over with him before you left.

YDI. You don't give people ultimatums. You sit down and discuss what's wrong with the relationship, and fix it. Plus, you don't make someone give up their hobbies for you. Good for him, for getting rid of someone like you who probably didn't respect him for who he really was, anyways.

You gave him an ultimatum what do you expect. If I was in a relationship and the person expected me to change for them I would kick them to the curb. I would want to be in a relationship were we can both be ourselves not to change to fit each others needs.
