Today, I found out that the huge project I've been working on for the past week is actually a group project. Everyone in my group knew. They were just letting me do the entire thing by myself because I'm "smart". FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I finished a 6-part project. It took me 7 hours of straight work because my partner decided I should do it alone. I then learned that the reason my partner did not help me was because the teacher e-mailed the leader of every group, saying the project was cancelled. FML
Runner up
Today, I finished a huge project for work. It took 3+ days and I was very proud of it. Except when I submitted it to my boss, he said that he'd already asked another person to do it. He used that person's project, not mine. FML
Swot
Today, my class had a group project. The teacher allowed people to opt to do it alone. I, an introvert with crippling social anxiety, was the only one to do it alone. I still finished before everyone else, with an A. The other students called me a "freak" and many other names, simply because I work better alone. FML
All together now
Today, we were all put in groups to make a presentation together. And by "together" I mean I pulled an all nighter to finish it by myself. My group criticized my work. FML
Tantrum
Today, I had a great idea for a group project at work, so I shared it with my team and my supervisor. They seemed to like it very much, except one guy in our group, who outranks me and who threw a massive temper tantrum because, “I didn't consult him first before sharing it.” This big baby makes 3 times my income. FML
'Tis always the way
Today, I found out that my manager has been stealing my ideas. The worst part? He made me work overtime to complete the project that I originally proposed. FML
Today, I was assigned to a group of four to brainstorm ideas for a project. One by one they listed their ideas, but when it was my turn they skipped me. They suddenly started a casual conversation with each other, oblivious of my existence, while I sat quietly between them for an hour. FML
Today, I was complaining to my friend how I was doing all the work in my group, and that they were getting all the credit. Her response? "It's OK, you're doing a shitty job anyway." FML
Great prank guys, love it
Today, after working like a caffeine-fuelled thunderstorm for 9 hours straight on an art project, my 2 friends informed me that it was due next week. I slept for 10 hours, and then went to my class without my project, thinking I lucked out in the long run. Clearly not, as it was due today. FML
Many such cases
Today, I met up with my group for class. We were doing some final checks on the project we've been working on all semester, when I realized something about one guy's work seemed off. I googled it and found out it's almost completely plagiarized. It's all due in the morning. FML

Do the project write your name on it and not theirs.

Id rather do it all myself and get a good grade for us all than have them help and get a not as good grade.

how did you not know?

tell the teacher. if they don't want to do the work, then they shouldn't get any credit.

Tell the teacher or prove that they did nothing so they won't get any credit.

Tell the teacher OP. They don't deserve a good grade if they didn't help you.

Been there done that - tell the teacher. If you think these kids will try to get back at you then let the teacher know that too. No matter how pissed they might be now, it's nothing to they way they will treat you once they start demanding that you keep doing their work for them.

This happened to me too, so when I handed my huge project to my teacher, I told him while making dead eye contact with my "group" that I did the entire thing by myself and they can't have credit for my work. I said this on the final day it was due, and the looks on their faces were priceless!!

Tell your teacher so you get full credit and they get a failing grade, plus are forced to do their own project.

Do what I did when I was in a group project, tell the teacher they didn't do a single thing
