Today, I found out that the girl I've been in love with for a long while got back together with her ex boyfriend because he had confessed his true feelings to her through a note in her locker. It was my note. FML

Today, I told the girl I've been seeing for a while about the strong feelings that I have for her and that I was falling in love. She told me my words made her realize what it felt like to be in love. My words were so powerful, in fact, that she ran right back into the arms of her ex boyfriend. FML
Today, I wrote a note for my crush of two years, expressing all my feelings for him, signed it as "Forever your lover", then I slipped it into his locker. Later that day, he walked up to me, tossed the note at me, and said, "You know I recognize your handwriting, right?" FML
Today, I found out the girl I like is in love with someone else. Five weeks ago, she told me she's never been in love. FML
Today, my ex got dumped by his girlfriend. Seeing my opportunity, I sent him a song I'd written for him, about how much I still love him. He sent it on to the girl who had just dumped him, claiming he had written it. They're now back together. FML
Today, I gathered the courage and wrote a love letter to put in the girl I like's school bag, at the end of classes. I felt anxious for a response. Her bag turned out to be her cousin's, and I became a joke in the classroom. FML
Today, I worked up the courage to confess my feelings to this girl I'm crazy about. I even wrote and recorded a song for her. Instead of listening to it, she gave it to her ex-boyfriend, who responded to my heartfelt words by headbutting me. FML
Today, I passed the girl I like a note asking her out, signed Mark H. She picked it up, read it, turned around and asked me, "Do you know who Mark H. is?" FML
Today, I found out that the "secret admirer" I've been exchanging letters with for the last three months, and even started developing feelings for, is actually my ex best friend trying to pull a prank on me. FML
Today, I wrote the girl I love a long, gushy letter to convince her to be with me instead of her abusive ex. Later on, I asked her what she thought. She said she can't read cursive. She chose the ex. FML
Today, I was gonna tell my crush that I love her, but I found out that she has a fiancé. She kept it secret so I would carry on helping her in her studies, like a fool. She was acting like she liked me, but she never did. Now it seems very obvious. FML

See, I've never understood this. It's a common plotline, especially in romcoms, sitcoms, soap operas, Harlequin novels: Boy writes note/sends flowers/has "I LOVE YOU GIRL" written in the sky over Girl's house. Other Boy then claims credit for this, gets Girl. Boy is sad. Angst ensues, a long and convoluted plotline involving complicated methods of revenge and trying to make Girl see that Other Boy is no good for her and all that jazz. I've seen this everywhere. Films, TV shows...I think the earliest version I ever saw was in the weekly Disney comics I used to get as a kid. It baffled me then and it baffles me now: how hard can it be to just walk up to Girl and go "um, actually, I did that"?

NO MERCY for anyone who doesn't state their identity. Whether on Messenger, email, phone, whatever. If I get any sort of unsigned info, or better yet the person is actually talking to me, and I ask who they are, and don't step up with a name, they are immediately on my 'most hated' list, and it's very hard to get back from there :P Sorry dude, you did it to yourself Learn to sign letters and indeed all communication, or if you are shy or otherwise afraid of the reply, stay indoors, and never get the girl :) I wish you strong cojones for the future my friend :P

tell her prove to her it was your note by telling her exactly what it said then when she asks him he will have no idea and he will look like a terrible guy and you will look good and she will fall into your arms.... at least thats what would happen in hollywood lol. But its worth a shot!!!
