Today, I found out that the 20% pay cut that the "management team" took at my job really only applied to... me. I also found out that my closest friend at work has been lying to me about it, and telling my boss everything I say. His pay was never cut. I guess it pays to be the boss's snitch. FML

Today, my coworker got a raise by making our boss give me a pay cut for doing his job while he was slacking off. As we were heading home for the day, he found $100. FML
Today, I found out via a voicemail from my boss that my hours are being cut. He said, "They said I can't fire you, so you'll only be getting 20 hours a week. Starting today." Who'd they give my other 20 hours to? The one person that calls off sick almost daily and is never on time. FML
Today, I found out that when my boss said she was considering bumping me up to full time, she actually meant she was planning on letting me go. Everyone in the office except me knew. FML
Today, I found out I'm getting a pay cut, a week after I told my boss I need a raise or second job just to afford bills. I made the company 10k last week. FML
Today, I found out that a coworker and I may get laid off soon, all because my boss's niece told him she can do both our jobs all by herself, and for less money. FML

Today, I was getting lunch at a fast food restaurant. My boss was in front of me, and in order to get on his good side I offered to pay. Instead, I got fired because I guess my boss assumed I was making fun of his salary, which I knew nothing about. FML
Today, I found out my reward for topping three of the four employee performance charts was a paycut. FML

It sounds like your closest friend could use a hefty squirt if Visine in his / her drink whenever you have chance to spike it. It won't hurt em, it will just cause explosive diarrhea. It sounds like they have that problem with their mouth already.

You can sue for this in contract surely, if you have a contract. You can also press criminal charges for theft because that's what it is.

Dump that friend, and tell him if he tries to mess with you or your job, you'll file an harassment claim. In the meantime, if you want you need to go to your Boss directly and ask why you were the only one who got that cut against them, as nobody else's pay was cut.
