put yourself in the friends shoes. maybe she just didn't know what to say. maybe it didn't start as anything serious for them. maybe by the time it got serious she had been telling you to go after him for too long to change her tune. maybe she was too much of a coward to tell you herself and wanted the guy to let you down so you and her could still be friends. since you take your advice from strangers on fml I guess so much for that idea...
