Today, I found out that I was not adopted and in fact my parents are my biological parents. How did I find out? Over dinner. How long have I been believing I was adopted? 22 years. Why did I start believing I was adopted? My siblings thought it would be a funny joke. My mom played along. FML

I'm not sure if your extremely gullible or if your family actually convinced you. A bit different, but I had a friend whose brother's birthday was 4 months away, but the same age. After I explained to her a few things, she had to tell her brother. Both of them thought they were full siblings and never wondered how it was impossible.
