Today, I found out that I was not adopted and in fact my parents are my biological parents. How did I find out? Over dinner. How long have I been believing I was adopted? 22 years. Why did I start believing I was adopted? My siblings thought it would be a funny joke. My mom played along. FML

For those of you saying "YDI for not seeing the physical similarities", I'm adopted myself and few people can tell at first glance because I happen to look enough like my foster mother for her to pass off as my biological mother(at least until you learn her age; there's a 40 year gap between us which is a little much). Just because it's unlikely doesn't mean it's impossible.
