Today, I found out my best friend was cheating on her boyfriend. After confronting her boyfriend and showing him proof, he responded with denial and didn't believe me. Now my whole circle of friends not only think I'm trying to start a rumor, but that I'm a home wrecker. FML

Today, I found out that my girlfriend has been cheating on me. I also found out that my best friend knew about it all along. When I confronted him, he tried to justify the betrayal by saying that she paid him to keep quiet. FML
Today, my best friend is mad at me for "letting my paranoia ruin her relationship." I've been telling her for months now that I don't trust her boyfriend's female best friend, but she never listened to me. Guess who I caught in bed together a few hours ago while my best friend was at work? FML
Today, I found out my best friend's girlfriend is cheating on him with his own brother. I went over to his place and told him everything while his girlfriend was in the same room. He called me a jealous liar who wanted to break them up, and kicked me out while she looked on, smirking. FML
Today, my girlfriend confessed that she cheated on me with my best friend. The best part is that I couldn't tell her a thing, because I actually cheated on her with the same friend before. FML
Today, I discovered that my supposed 'friend' was spreading rumours about me and my other friends. We confronted her, but then she started crying and playing the victim so everyone would feel sorry for her, then spread more rumours. My friends and I have done nothing to her. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I texted her and I would never talk to her again, but I accidentally sent it to my other best friend, who responded, "I'm so sorry, I never meant for you to find out." My two best friends cheated with my boyfriend. FML
Today, after I tried to help my friend bust his cheating girlfriend, he seems to still trust her, so now my office friends think I'm a bigmouth. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend cheated on me with my "best friend" while I was away on vacation. She is now writing on her blog about how heartbreaking the whole situation is for her, and how she's "stuck in the middle of all this." FML
Today, I learned that my "friend" told my other friends that I was homophobic, sexist, and racist. None of that is true and she's just trying to turn everyone against me for no reason. She has also apparently been talking BS behind my back. Worst part is I did nothing to her. I don't know what to do now. FML
Today, I confronted my boyfriend after I found him cheating on me with my best friend. It ended up with me apologising for spying on him. FML

This is usually a lose-lose situation. Although, I don't know why you confronted the boyfriend instead of your best friend. She's the one cheating, and should be responsible for admitting the truth to her boyfriend.

When my best friend cheated on her bf I stood by her because she's my friend. It wasn't up to me to decide if she should stay with him and it's not up to you either. You probably just lost all of your friends because of that.

Oh people stop acting like you have never covered for your friend. If you have a problem with it, tell her, if you still feel bad tell her either she's telling him or you are. But you do not go and tell your BESTFRIEND'S boyfriend without confronting her. You have your own friend's back, always. If what they are doing is wrong you tell them first. Duh. Everyone, stop acting like you all always do the "right" thing and go and snitch people close to you.

Authors really need to comment more on their FMLs so we can get more context. Everyone is just assuming this person didn't talk to their best friend first or confront them about it. Maybe they have covered for their friend in the past when they cheated on someone else and couldn't do it this time. Maybe they themselves have been cheated on and they can't stand it. My thing is though if they do have proof as they say then why would any of their friends think they're a home wrecker, couldn't they just show the proof to people and be like "look see I'm not lying".

Instead of confronting your friend you went to her bf? Sounds like you went about it the wrong way, if she was your best friend convincing her to tell him would have been the best way, it makes you look like you like the guy if you go to him first.

Did any of you stop to realize that the b/f could be OP's friend too? I tried to convince my friend not to marry my best friend after she cheated on him with 3 other people (actually he was originally the "other guy"). He knew since he was friends with the 3 other guys. They got married. I ended up getting blamed for all the problems in their relationship so I dropped them both. Less than a year later they had a kid and a divorce. If she's a cheater and he's an idiot, you're in for a hard friendship if you hang around.
