Today, I found out my best friend was cheating on her boyfriend. After confronting her boyfriend and showing him proof, he responded with denial and didn't believe me. Now my whole circle of friends not only think I'm trying to start a rumor, but that I'm a home wrecker. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out that my girlfriend has been cheating on me. I also found out that my best friend knew about it all along. When I confronted him, he tried to justify the betrayal by saying that she paid him to keep quiet. FML
How come you were there?
Today, my best friend is mad at me for "letting my paranoia ruin her relationship." I've been telling her for months now that I don't trust her boyfriend's female best friend, but she never listened to me. Guess who I caught in bed together a few hours ago while my best friend was at work? FML
Star witness
Today, I found out my best friend's girlfriend is cheating on him with his own brother. I went over to his place and told him everything while his girlfriend was in the same room. He called me a jealous liar who wanted to break them up, and kicked me out while she looked on, smirking. FML
Three's a crowd
Today, my girlfriend confessed that she cheated on me with my best friend. The best part is that I couldn't tell her a thing, because I actually cheated on her with the same friend before. FML
Drama Llama
Today, I discovered that my supposed 'friend' was spreading rumours about me and my other friends. We confronted her, but then she started crying and playing the victim so everyone would feel sorry for her, then spread more rumours. My friends and I have done nothing to her. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend. I texted her and I would never talk to her again, but I accidentally sent it to my other best friend, who responded, "I'm so sorry, I never meant for you to find out." My two best friends cheated with my boyfriend. FML
Meddling
Today, after I tried to help my friend bust his cheating girlfriend, he seems to still trust her, so now my office friends think I'm a bigmouth. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend cheated on me with my "best friend" while I was away on vacation. She is now writing on her blog about how heartbreaking the whole situation is for her, and how she's "stuck in the middle of all this." FML
She has a bright future in politics
Today, I learned that my "friend" told my other friends that I was homophobic, sexist, and racist. None of that is true and she's just trying to turn everyone against me for no reason. She has also apparently been talking BS behind my back. Worst part is I did nothing to her. I don't know what to do now. FML
Wrong way round
Today, I confronted my boyfriend after I found him cheating on me with my best friend. It ended up with me apologising for spying on him. FML

if she's your best friend, why not approach her about it first? instead of directly going to the boyfriend

This is usually a lose-lose situation. Although, I don't know why you confronted the boyfriend instead of your best friend. She's the one cheating, and should be responsible for admitting the truth to her boyfriend.

Why would you bitch your friend out.

If I was cheated on, I wouldn't care where I'd hear it from, as long as someone would tell me. Imagine a situation where everybody else knows about it except for you.. You should be able to trust your friends in situations like these.

I agree. Why are you running to her boyfriend when SHE is your "best friend". That's messed up. Definitely seems like you have ulterior motives.

how dare you care about someone else's feelings when your 'best friend' does something terrible. clearly decent people believe anything is ok as long as someone close to them does it.

You are a shitty person and snotty friend. Yes cheating is wrong but so is stirring the shit pot. Revealing something told to you in confidence is just as bad as cheating. I hope you lost a friend because you deserve it. Learn your place and stay in it. Best friends are the people we can tell we cheated and we expect them to keep it between the two of us. That's something sacred. Your just plain ol trash. Worse than the cheater. You deserve to eat shit. You stirred the shit pot so lick the motha ******* spoon. Serves you right everyone's against you now. You did it to yourself. Bitch

How do you know that the OP best friend told her she was cheating her boyfriend?

Let this be a lesson to you: don't get involved in other people's relationships

I have to vote with the OP on this one. This whole 'best friends bury bodies' thing is ridiculous. No, best friends help their friends to STOP MAKING DECISIONS THAT WIND YOU UP WITH DEAD BODIES. You convince them to turn themselves in or you turn them in yourself, for their own good, you don't make it worse by covering up the crime; that would make you an accomplice in the crime! Which actually serves as a good metaphor for this situation. Helping them cover up their infidelity isn't necessarily being a good friend. It's making the secret your fault too. If it comes out and the boyfriend's upset, now it's your fault too because you knew the whole time and you told NO ONE about it. It's not necessarily OP's fault for telling the boyfriend and showing him the proof. She clearly cared about her friend's relationship, and the feelings about the boyfriend. Not necessarily that she had any interest in him, but that she was trying to be a good friend. After that point, it should be up to the couple to move past this together now it's out in the open. He's clearly not reacting well to the news, but the ball's in their court now. It's up to them.
