Hiii, I'm the OP. thanks for all the lovely comments, although there's a few that aren't very nice. I'm 24 btw, not 16, and I did use birth control, but you do know it's only 99% safe, right? These things can sadly happen. And we broke up because he was going.

I hope for your baby's sake that you two broke up on good terms, and that it wasn't a really rough split. If you choose to have your baby your ex can still help you provide for him/her, it just won't be as simple since he's in another country. Good luck, OP. Definitely a tough situation.

Find a way to contact him and tell him. He does deserve to know, even if you did leave things on bad terms. After you tell him, take it from there. Whatever happens after that, happens. Good luck, OP. Congrats!

#143, an abandoned child still has the chance to lead a happy life. Abortion doesn't let the baby live at all. Period. And no, I am not against legalizing abortion. Although personally I would not get one myself.

Just abort it and don't tell him, problem solved. Abortion is safer for you, more economical and better for the environment. With your current busy life, abortion would be the way to go if you 2 were married and living together, much less with him in Japan.
