Today, I finished a repair on my trailer. About twenty miles down the road, one of the joints gave out and the whole thing broke on the freeway, scattering lumber and splinters everywhere. The traffic cop called me the worst carpenter in the whole state. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, after driving 900 miles, the tongue on my trailer broke ten miles away from home. I was stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours. FML
Today, I was moving to the city with all my belongings when the trailer came unhitched, breaking the chains on my dad's homemade trailer. I then watched as the trailer narrowly missed a guardrail, went down a hill and into a river. My dad still won't admit he didn't latch the hitch. FML
Today, I had the lovely experience of witnessing a tow truck cause a couple thousand dollars' worth of damage to my broken-down car. FML
Today, after getting my car completely fixed after it being damaged for a year, I was driving and the entire side panel on the car fell off. The repair man forgot to put the screws back in. FML
Today, I drove my truck into the garage for a couple of minor repairs. It was returned on a flatbed with a blown engine. FML
Cursed lake
Today, our boat broke down in the middle of a lake at sunset. We called our friend for help, and his truck and trailer got stuck in mud at the boat ramp. We called the sheriff's office to tow his vehicle out of the mud. The tow strap broke. FML
Driving school dropout
Today, as I was pulling into my driveway, I hit my fence. The same fence that I had repaired last week because I had run into it. FML
Today, my car broke down. I pulled to the side of the road to call a tow truck. After waiting what seemed like hours, the tow truck showed up, and then ran into the back of my car. FML
Today, I drove to my cousin's house so he could help me fix my broken tail light. On the way there, I got pulled over for having a broken tail light. FML
Goddamn it
Today, I came back from a 700-mile round trip. I hit a massive pothole I couldn't avoid and blew out a tire and bent my rim. I was less than a mile from my house. FML

“And I would know! My capacity as a traffic cop entitles me to judge carpentry. There’s a lot of commonality between noticing how fast somebody is driving and knowing when somebody is a good carpenter. Yep!”

Hey, on the bright side that means there are potentially 49 worse carpenters in the country!

Better stick to wood and leave everything else for other professionals. It's better to be good a one thing, than being an moron in a hundred things.

Sounds like something straight out of a cartoon.

Well, I guess, at least nobody was killed due to your incompetence.

Who wood have guessed? The cop birched at you for a bad repair. Next time you need something fixed, make sure you have a professional tree-ple check your work. It will likely save your ash in the future!
