Today, I finally got around to writing my Christmas cards. After finishing, I realized I had written "Happy Birthday" instead of "Merry Christmas" on every single one. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Merry Mystery Christmas!
Today, I wrapped all my Christmas gifts at midnight. In my exhaustion, I forgot to label them. On Christmas morning, everyone will open presents while I try to remember who was supposed to get socks versus who was supposed to get a coffee maker. FML
Today, I was wrapping Christmas presents for various people; 17 to be exact. It wasn't until I placed the last present on top of the stack that I realized I didn't put gift tags on any of them. FML
Today, I spent an hour writing 80 thank you cards to everyone who attended my graduationg party. After carefully personalizing each one and sealing them shut, I realized I did not mark the envelopes with names. FML
Today, I noticed that even though I got all my Christmas shopping done a month earlier than usual, I forgot to put anything in the mail. FML
Today, after many days of messing around with wording and pictures, a huge and expensive printed card order came in to the office. I spelled the first word wrong. I can't get a refund. FML
Today, I was doing a little victory jig after finally sending out the last of the invitation cards for my wedding when I realised that I had forgotten to put the date of the event on them. FML
Today, I sent a christmas card to my husband's uncle and aunt. I'd forgotten that the uncle died last year. FML
Thanks, I guess…
Today, it was my birthday and everyone in the office chipped in to buy me a card, and nothing but a card. It had a pre-written message on it and a space to write "Love, *insert name*" where everyone signed their names. The "Love" was crossed out and replaced with "From". FML
Today, I got a birthday card from my parents. It was my sister's from earlier in the year. They scratched out her name and wrote mine underneath. FML

Today, I made a digital contact card for my department that needed to be sent to payroll. Since we didn't have one before, I sent a copy to the rest of the department to use if they wanted. I didn't send the blank though. I sent 100s of people all of my contact info. Somehow, I managed to misspell my own name too. FML

Hah. I did that, on a Christmas card for a secret Santa. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (...to Jesus...)"

LOL, i agree with 1 :D for once, i actually like the person whose in #1 place. instead of "first!" the person actually came up with something clever.

Yeah except for the fact that technically Jesus was born in March.. But I guess years of lies will make up for it sounding correct. OP, you're pretty stupid to not notice that, so YDI

@ #30; jesus was born in september....not march....

Actually Jesus was born in April

Either way, it wasn't December, so the happy birthday wouldn't work

I'm sorry OP, but I beleive you have confused this with MLIA. And btw Jesus was born in April. The catholic church moved christmas so it was at the same time as a big pagan holiday so people had to choose which one to celebrate (there must have been a lot of people celebrating both). Anyways, all religions are stupid, so who cares?

would you look at that your just as smart as me. ( something stupid our guidane consalors told us to say when we have the same idea...)

reyer- just because your atheist, doesn't mean religion isnt very important to some people. the whole holiday of Christmas is meaningful to Christian, and it kinda pisses me off how commercial it is. you don't think Jesus is son of god, or god exists, why are you celebrating his birth?

good idea

A Demetri Martin joke stirs unnecessary controversy over the true Christmas date - whether Jesus was born on the 25th of December or not is far beyond the point of writing Happy Birthday on Christmas cards.
