Today, I finally cracked the password on my husband's email account. I don't know which is worse: finding out your husband is cheating on you with several people, or finding his password includes his ex-girlfriend's name. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Never forget
Today, I asked my wife for her computer password because my computer crashed. After minutes of begging her, she finally told me. Turns out that her password happens to be her ex's name. FML
The real Zodiac killer?
Today, I told my husband that we should write down all our passwords so we don't forget them. Later, after he'd left, I pulled out his password sheet to do a little snooping, only to learn that he'd written them in some sort of bizarre cipher. What's he hiding? FML
Today, I finally found out who has been sending me hate letters, it's my husband's ex-wife. They've been divorced for 7 years. FML
Crazy
Today, I spoke with my boyfriend's crazy ex-girlfriend. Actually, she isn't all that crazy. He really did cheat on her with half a dozen other girls. The same girls he's apparently cheating on me with. How do I know for sure? Thank you crazy ex for his email passwords. FML
Stalkerish
Today, I discovered my ex has been signing my email up for various newsletters. I knew I was getting a lot of spam, but didn't know why. It became apparent when one of these emails had his name in it. FML
Today, I found my boyfriend's Facebook page. I also found his wife's. FML
Today, I woke up to a brand new password on my phone that only my wife knows. Apparently, she thinks I've been looking at my phone more than I've been talking to her lately. FML
To be fair and balanced…
Today, I found out my husband is still friends with someone who talks a lot of crap about me. FML
Married life
Today, I found out my husband of 7 years has been cheating on me with "10-15" people. FML
Thanks, I hate it
Today, after three weeks of fighting with my husband, I found out that he really didn't create an account on a website for cheaters and charge the bill to his credit card. Our daughter did it as a prank, and only confessed because our fighting was stressing her out. FML

YDI for hacking into his email.

maybe the ex-girl friend has a complex name that lends itself as a strong password like Annavatonix.

Meh, you've clearly got control/trust issues if you hack you husband's accounts to see what he's up to. He shouldn't have cheated on you, he should have dumped you for being psychotic and found a new girl. And what the hell have you been doing to give him enough time to cheat on you? Hate to say it, but you should've seen this coming. After all, it seems like your husband is the kind of guy who likes attention, and you seem to have left him with a lot of free time. Plus you both keep secrets from each other (his affairs and your hacking his account). Wake up, put 2 and 2 together, and realize your relationship was doomed anyways.

YDI. How dare you invade his privacy - you probably did it because you are a psychotic bitch, which is why he cheated in the first place. What the ****. Go jump off of a bridge.

i don't know how many marriages you've been to, but "being monogamous" is NOT a vow in any traditional wedding. based on your reasoning, no one should ever have to be faithful because i know for a fact that it is not something you specifically state on your wedding day UNLESS you write your own vows and add that part in. it's pretty much an unwritten rule - the exception would be if you explicitly stated that cheating was allowed, but that is obviously not the case here. it actually sort of is a written rule when i think about it, considering states that don't have the "no fault" rules for divorce will automatically judge AGAINST the person who strayed if there is evidence that adultery was committed. how morbid would wedding ceremonies be if people started listing all of the dishonest things they promise not to do, which should go without saying? that is sooo not what a wedding, or a marriage, is supposed to be about

@114: your little essay is chauvinistic to say the least and downright biased. yes, looks and maintenance are essential in a relationship, but that does NOT give the husband an excuse to cheat. and who are you to automatically assume she let herself go to seed? if that was the real reason, why was her husband cheating 'with several people', and not just one in that case? It's obvious he is the one who's got issues. the password already proves that.
