Today, I drove my friends two hours to see a tourist attraction I had been talking up for months. It burnt to the ground last week. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Oversight
Today, I drove six hours with a friend to see one of her favorite bands in concert. We were turned away at the door because the online site didn't say we had to be 21 to enter. I drove six hours back with nothing to show for it but an empty gas tank and useless tickets. FML
Friends in need…
Today, I made a trip that would usually takes three hours, but took over five thanks to holiday traffic, to comfort my best friend after another breakup with her horrible boyfriend. We'd planned to go and watch the fireworks; instead she completely ghosted me in this strange town so she and him could "work things out." FML
Groundhog Day
Today, I had a car accident. In the same place, at the same time, and with the same friend in the passenger seat as last week. FML
Long haul
Today, I was driving to visit my parents for the first time in two years. After spending about $4000 to make sure my car wouldn't break down on the journey, around the halfway point, the front tire popped and the engine blew out. I'm about 5 states away from both my parents and my home. FML
Today, I hadn't been out in two weeks, and I was looking forward to going to the beach with my friends. Instead, I rear-ended someone at a roundabout and had to go home. FML
Today, my whole family made an hour-long drive to a restaurant that's just a few minutes away from my place. I wasn't invited. FML
Today, I had the lovely experience of witnessing a tow truck cause a couple thousand dollars' worth of damage to my broken-down car. FML
Today, my friend and I drove three hours to attend a U2 concert. We had been psyched about the tickets for weeks because they were awesome seats (my early Christmas present). After a long drive, we get to the venue and I realize in horror that I left tickets at home, on my desk, three hours away. FML
Today, I got a rental car because my car needed new tires and I had a long drive ahead of me. Today, the rental car got a flat tire. FML
Next time, text me instead
Today, I drove 120 miles to spend a few days with my girlfriend. Less than 12 hours into my stay, she dumped me. FML

Just show them the rest of the crazy shit you can see in Aussie land, they'll either be satisfied, or dead.

Was this attraction Fazbear's Fright by any chance?

It could be the Reliquaire gift and toy store in Latrobe, Tasmania. My parents just came back from a visit there. It was an amazing place. Burned down on Christmas Eve just as they were opening, due to an electrical fault they think.

Yes, this was the first thing I thought of when I saw this happened in Australia!

It's still an attraction only with something new to see.

Reminds me of the time I wanted to take my girlfriend to play miniature golf at a location in town that had been there since I was little. We went one evening but it was unfortunately a few minutes too late and they weren't letting anymore customers in for the night. I learned two or three days later that it had been demolished. You'd think the people working there could have told us we only had two more nights to come back and play before it was gone forever, but no.
