Today, I caught my boyfriend cheating right after I maxed out my credit card buying him everything on his Christmas list. FML

Today, I found out that my boyfriend is getting back together with his crazy alcoholic ex-wife who frequently cheated on him. In addition to this news, I also found out that he maxed out all my credit cards. FML
Today, I caught my fiance lying about being at work. Furious, I started breaking his things, demanding to know what skank he'd been sneaking around with. He gave me a stack of receipts, saying he'd been Christmas shopping. He's not cheating, just getting me everything I wanted. God, I'm a psycho. FML
Today, I turned on my boyfriend's computer and saw pictures of all of my credit cards, front and back, and several of my parent's credit cards. I looked in his e-mail and found receipts for items which had been billed to me and delivered to him, including golf clubs and my birthday gift. FML
Today, I got a phone call from my boyfriend breaking things off with me. He waited until the day after Christmas because he wanted all his presents. And he got me nothing. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend wrote 50 dollars on my gift card just to look generous, it's really only worth five. I found this out after I tried to buy an arm full of clothes. FML
Today, I found out my fiancé is in the market for a new girlfriend. How? He used my credit card to sign up for 3 dating sites. FML
Today, I caught my boyfriend stealing money from my purse. He tried to turn it on me by claiming I'll owe him for the flowers he'll get me on Valentine's Day, then tried to make me feel guilty by saying the whole thing is for "selfish bitches anyway". FML
Today, I confronted my boyfriend about his infidelity. I saw him at the mall with another woman at Victoria's Secret, and I took pictures from a distance. When I asked him why he did it, he told me, "If you have $20 to your name and you see a $100 bill on the ground, you're gonna pick it up, right?" FML
Today, I found out my husband spent us into overdraft charges through compulsive online shopping. Again. FML
Today, I went through my boyfriend’s emails and found out that he cheated on me the day before he asked me to move in with him. FML

You deserve it for maxing out a credit card, ensuring yourself months of debt, on CHRISTMAS presents. Your life sucks because your boyfriend cheated on you, but why would you max out a credit card on Christmas presents? What if you needed it for necessities, such as paying your bills or buying groceries? You could lose your job and then what? SIGH.

Sorry to hear about that, OP. It doesn't sound like a healthy relationship to start off with though. Hope you're to return those items and restructure financially. Gifts are nice gestures, but they shouldn't be the strongest element to keep couple together.

In my opinion, you deserve it! You should've known something was up when YOU weren't on his Christmas list. If you really meant anything to him, those things wouldn't even matter at all.

Why would you buy him everuthing. He has parents. Plus, youre spoiling him. Hes going to start thinking of you as a slave if you keep this up. This goes with anyone.
