Today, I came home to find a mouse in the garage. Frantic, I killed it. My 7-year-old son came home from soccer, and started crying because he couldn't find the class pet, Mr. Whiskers. I killed my son's class pet. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Pests
Today, I had mice in the house and had to kill them with mousetraps. I pulled a trap out with a dead mouse and my four year-old son saw. Mice are his favorite animals, and now he won’t speak to me. FML
Sorry Mr Nibbles
Today, I was at my boyfriend's house, meeting his family for the first time. We were all standing in the kitchen when suddenly a small white and brown mouse ran by. Out of natural instinct, I stomped on it. Turns out, it was his little sister's pet mouse that had gotten out of its cage earlier. FML
Today, I work as an assistant to a sculptor. We finished all our projects early so his wife decided to have me clean their kitchen. I wasn't paying attention and picked up a dead mouse. I screamed and threw it away as hard as I could. It hit their five-year-old son in the face. FML
No more clicks for you
Today, after I'd saved a baby mouse and was filming a YouTube series of me taking care of it, my boyfriend told me he found a “rat” in the kitchen, but not to worry he killed it and fed it to the cat. He killed my baby mouse, and now he’s mad I didn’t praise him for his brilliant extermination job. FML
Stuart?
Today, I woke up at 6 a.m. and went into the kitchen, where I saw a mouse in front of the fridge. Petrified, I stood in the doorway shooing it for a few minutes. My husband then walked into the kitchen, picked up the "mouse", and threw it in the bin. It was a used tea bag. FML
Today, I found a dead squirrel under my son's bed. Apparently, he has been keeping it there as a "pet" for the past week. FML
Predator meets prey
Today, I found a mouse in my kitchen. Wanting to go about it the humane way, I captured the little guy and released it outside. I then watched as a stray cat in my yard noticed and brutally murdered it. No good deed… FML
Panic in the sheets
Today, I woke up to my disabled mother screaming for me. Fearing the worst, I hopped out of bed only to find that she was yelling because her cat had brought a field mouse inside as a gift. The problem? It was still alive. I had to get it from him and throw it outside. FML
Animal Farm
Today, I found a mouse stuck in a glue trap at work. I had to take it home to get it off with oil, and then I released it outside. Twenty minutes later, the cat returned it to me, dead. After that, the dogs dug it up where I buried it. Sorry, mouse. FML
Spooky
Today, I set up a mouse trap to kill the rodent plaguing my kitchen. While lying in bed, I heard an unmistakable snap, and ran to see what I'd caught. The mouse trap was missing. I now have a large, angry, and possibly dying animal running around my house. FML

The mouse wasn't asking for a cookie. You didn't need to kill him.

That reminds me of a story that I saw on the news where a guy lit a mouse on fire outside and it ran back into his house and burned it down.

Freezing to death, poor things! I don't want wild mice in my house, but that's just cruel and inhumane.

Anyone cruel enough to set fire to a living animal shouldn't complain that said animal used it's last moments to burn down his house. Smart mouse.

I've never been able to understand why people keep mice and rats as pets... Smh Go buy a new look-a-like mouse I replace it!

Because rats are surprisingly intelligent creatures. Better then having a hamster.
MiloBear 11
Because rats are awesome! Probably the best caged pet a person can have as they actually want to interact with their owner.
RocketNinjaFish 12
Because they're sweet, innocent creatures. One of my teachers has a pet rat she brings to class, and she's not even locked in a cage. Nobody minds her.

now you'll forever be know as "Randolph, the rodent killer"

Wasnt it in a cage? And, cant you tell the difference between mice and rats? wtf OP!
Yashichu 3
You'd be shock on how many people think rats and mice are the same animal. Mice grow into rats they say. But that isn't really the point of the fml. She saw a mouse and she killed it. If it was in a cage I think she would think twice before doing something.
