Today, I called the company with whom I had a job interview last week, which I thought went great, but hadn't heard back from. One of the interviewers claimed that I tried to grope her. FML

Today, I called a possible employer I had an interview with about a week ago to see if I had got the job that I have already been trained for. Her response? "Are you sure I interviewed you?" FML
Today, I got a call from the only company that asked me to come in for an interview of the many applications I submitted. I answered it even though I was at my current job. My boss heard and chewed me out. The call was to cancel the interview since the position was filled. FML
Today, my phone cut out during a call for a job interview. I tried calling them back, but there was no answer. Later, I got an email from the interviewer, saying I was no longer being considered for the position due to my being "rude and unprofessional." FML
Today, I had a woman accuse me of trying to steal her husband over the phone, just because I called and asked for him. I'm an interviewer. FML
Today, I went to a job interview and, trying to sound confident, I shook the interviewer’s hand and said, "Nice to meet me." I didn’t get the job. FML
Today, I got through to the phone interview stage for a great job. When the phone rang, I answered and suddenly, spontaneously, burped really loudly. The interviewer hung up. FML
Today, the person that interviewed me for a job was the same person I called a "fat bitch" at a baseball game after she knocked over my drink while she was dancing. She recognized me too. FML
Today, my mom called while I was at a job interview. I ignored the call, but the interviewer was so offended by the fact I'd rudely left it on at all, that he threw me out. I found out from my mom later that she'd called to wish me good luck. FML
Today, I was to have an important phone interview for a job. I got a call and everything went perfectly, and they said I was hired. Later, I found out that one of my "friends" had gotten one of his buddies to prank call me and make sure the line was engaged when the real interviewer called. FML
Today, after months of job hunting, I finally got a phone interview with a company. Excited, I prepared for the interview and conducted extensive research on the company. The interview ended within a minute. They'd got the wrong person. FML

A similar thing happened to me; turns out the false claim against me was made by a very overweight woman who has a very negative self image. She claimed that I called her a "fat pig" -- Like I would do that during a job interview ??? Really weird, but there you are.

Maybe she didn't want to work with him because she got a bad vibe, maybe he stared at her chest but he had good credentials so she had to say something drastic so they wouldn't hire him. Maybe shes just a pathological liar who gets off on attention, either way I don't think they would make good coworkers.

I'm pretty sure OP didn't grope her, there were probably just some misunderstanding (forgot, is groping something physical or verbal...) or the interviewer is a ****/bitch/other words fitting for her. In second thought, the later part is the most likely. B/

That sucks but maybe you did with your eyes, haha. Did you get the false claim cleared up? Or did you just move on? I don't know why anyone would believe her if she sat through a entire interview with you if someone was an ass to me or tried to grope me the interview would be over right then and on the latter part security called.
