Today, I asked my dad why we didn't have any baby pictures. His response was, "They got lost in the flood of '93." I was born in '95. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I asked my dad why he only has pictures of me from when I was a little kid. Without skipping a beat, he said, "I only keep pictures from when I liked you." FML
Today, I asked my dad why there were no photos of me on the wall. He replied, "Every time you disappoint us we burn one." FML
Today, my father made a post on Facebook with an old baby picture, saying how proud he was that I got into college. This would have been sweet if the baby picture was actually of me. FML
No Ragrets
Today, I rummaged around in the attic, looking for old pictures of me and my family, so I could make a surprise collage. Instead, I found my dad's old journals, talking about how desperately he didn't want a kid, and how he wanted to leave my mother more and more every day that passed since I was born. FML
Probably not
Today, I asked my dad if I was a planned baby. He asked me if the crazy drunken party he and my mom had nine months prior to my birth counted. FML
Today, at the eye doctor, they asked for my birth date for the files. My dad answered quickly, "May 28, 1994." It was embarrassing to have to correct him with "April 19, 1993." Who's May 28? Way to go dad. FML
Deception
Today, I found out that my parents have been lying about my birthday. Now it makes sense how they "lost the birth certificate" or how many photos of me as a baby are dated before I was actually supposed to be born, because "the camera must've glitched, we must've confused the date we wrote in the back of that card." FML
You happened
Today, my 11-year-old son and I were going through some old photos. He saw one of me when I was 22 on a beach, wearing a bikini. He said "Wow! Who's that?" Quite proudly I said it was me. He looked at me and said "What happened?" FML
Today, I asked my mother why she didn't drink. She laughed and said, "The last time I drank was the night you were conceived. I didn't need any other disasters." FML
Collector's items
Today, I found out my dad has a folder full of baby pictures and things that I drew when I was younger, labeled, "Shit from when Annie was cute." FML

You might find a baby picture on the side of a milk carton.

I know how it feels to have no baby pictures, and it sucks, but in my case my dad burned all of mine.

#3 You should make an Fml post about it, because I'm really intrigued as to why he did that.

That book is so good. Read it for school when I was 13 and finished the series on my own.

I think the fact that he doesn't know the year you were born shows why he doesn't have baby pictures...

Your parents never truly gave birth to you. They found you, a helpless three year old lying by a gutter. At which point they decided to pick you up and raise you as their own. True story.

Maybe he meant *the camera for lost in 93 not the pictures. But so sorry OP

Unfortunately he said 'they', not 'it'. Unless he had lots of cameras that is XD

Just ask your mom, dads usually don't know where sentimental things like that are

Maybe try asking your mother? I know my dad has no idea where mine are.
