Today, at my all-night senior party, I was talking to the blind girl who I haven't had classes with since 9th grade. I unthinkingly opened the conversation with "Nice to see you again." FML

Today, a girl said hi to me very enthusiastically at school, and I heard her friends laughing afterward. I was too lazy to put in my contact lenses this morning so I couldn't tell who it was. FML
Today, I forgot my blind date's name 3 times during our conversation. FML
Today, I ran into an attractive friend of a friend who I hadn't seen since a night out last month. I tried my best to be friendly and interesting, but he still seemed awkward. Later I find out that last time he saw me, I was blind drunk and vomiting after propositioning him all evening. FML
Today, I recently graduated from high school and I went to a college party. I met these girls and told them I graduated college already, to sound cool. I then heard one of them say, "I went to middle school with you, and I was in your math class." FML

Today, I went out to lunch with two old friends from high school. While at the restaurant, we saw a girl who we graduated with. The girl gave both of them hugs, then introduced herself to me. FML
Today, I started college after a night out. I'd got tipsy at the club and started dancing with a cute guy. He asked for my number. I didn't want to give it to him, so I gave him a rejection number. Guess who's the new professor for my bio class? And yes, he recognized me. FML
Today, I had to go to the mall for a quick errand. While there one of my friends who works at a phone booth was there and I stayed for a little bit chatting with him. While chatting, a girl passed by. She was so pretty that I blurted out, "What a woman!" out loud. Turns out it was my ex. FML

All it means is "it's nice to be in your company again", if you don't take the saying literally. I'm sure she didn't mind unless she's the kind of person who likes to find reasons to be offended.

The resulting puns of this are great, but I don't see (no pun intended) why that would be a big deal. It's not like blind people expect "sightseers" to... not talk about the idea of sight.

I sympathise, I once asked a friend's blind mother if she had driven to a parents day. She replied that she had driven there. Then followed a few years of her taking the piss out of me.

Well, you are sighted, so of course you saw her. Anyway, in this context, "see" is acceptable. Anyway, I've had friends with limited vision, and they don't mind the sight-related language at all.
