Today, at a family gathering, my aunt asked me when I was planning to have children. I'm only 16, I laughed and said not for a while, definitely not until I get married. My family shook their heads, and ignored me for the rest of the day. Apparently, teenage pregnancy is valued in my family. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Little shit
Today, while at a family reunion, I jokingly asked my 18-year-old son, "When are you and your girlfriend going to give me a grandson?" He then retorted, "When are you going to die?" I was unable to answer at all. FML
Not the expected outcome
Today, I told my dad that I'm pregnant. He shook his head and said, sadly, "What a waste. You're way too young to throw your life away like this." Silly me; I was worried that at 46 I might be too old for this. FML
Chill out, Mom
Today, my mom is in hysterics, all because I told her I don't want to get married or have kids, and I'm not interested in dating anyone. I'm 16. FML
Today, my mum asked when she's getting grandkids. I had to tell her that, at 21 years-old, I hadn't even managed to get a boyfriend yet. FML
Today, over a family dinner, my husband and I told everyone that I'm pregnant. My father frowned and said, "Again?", my 9-year-old daughter started crying, and her brother smirked and yelled, "Up the ass, no babies!" FML
Race against the clock
Today, we found out that my 13-year-old cousin is pregnant. My mom then turned to me and asked why I decided to wait so long. I’m only 20. Instead of being worried that this young girl has potentially ruined her entire life, my mom just complained that her sister "gets to be a grandma first." FML
Congratulations, you played yourself!
Today, I was at a family gathering when my aunt asked me if I was seeing anyone special. In a tired and sarcastic tone, I jokingly said, “I’m actually getting married next month!” The room went silent, then some of them cheered. I had to explain I was kidding, but now they’re looking forward to a wedding I didn’t agree to. FML
Under pressure
Today, my mom asked me out of the blue if I was ever going to consider getting married. It wasn't until after the conversation ended that I remembered my siblings are all either single like I am, or incapable of having children. I am my mother's last hope of becoming a grandma, and she reminds me all the time. FML
Vessels
Today, my mom bitched me out for still being single at age 19, and still not having started a family. She considers this "immoral," yet showed nothing but praise for my sister, who's pregnant at 15 and doesn't know which of three guys is the father. FML
Today, we told my fiancé's parents that I'm pregnant. His mom's response? "I'm going to throw up. You can't raise a child." We are both 28, self-sufficient and everyone else is thrilled. FML

Please please PLEASE don't listen to them >.< Be a responsible human being first and foremost. What other people think doesn't amount to a grain of sand, especially when they're so clearly wrong.

Well at least if you do get pregnant, which you shouldn't, your family will support you and help you raise the baby. FYL though, that's ****** up.

Well has your family had a lot of teen pregnancy's? and when asked the question by your Aunt did you say something negative about teen pregnancy and so they felt you were judging them

It's pregnancies, not pregnancy's, for God's sake. You're 29 years old, and you make such simple grammar mistakes.

Really, #41? You seem to have high expectations for humanity. I agree with #40. There are some really retarded people out. I can see this as a kudos, as an FYL. If you ever have a baby - YAY! Your family will be ***** and take of your baby for you - if you don't, they'll still hate you! Yay!

On the contrary #43, my expectations for humanity is 0. I know full well the stupidity in this world (just look at some of the comments), but this is on a whole new level of it. It more than likely did happen, but I would have to see it with my own eyes so that my exceptions for the human race can finally reach -1.

Or just a regular teenage girl... Most chicks go through the phase when they really want a kid. Like me. I seriously want one, but I'm smart enough to know that now is not the right time for that. I wouldn't be able to support him or her, my boyfriend is in jail for the next 6 months, I'm only 19... Yeah, not the right time but it doesn't make the desire any less intense.

I tend to get into these moods where I want a baby but I know I'm not ready at all to care for a child.
