Today, and for the last 8 months my upstairs neighbours have been making a tremendous noise. I finally decided to go up to complain: "The amount of noise you make is unbelievable ! It sounds like you're driving tractors up here!". The woman replies: "My husband is paraplegic..." FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, after 3 days of interrupted sleep, I confronted my new neighbor about the noise his wife keeps making during their "private time". He then let me know the noise is actually from his daughter, who's mentally disabled and isn't taking the move well. FML
Today, my downstairs neighbours screamed at me for making so much noise that I woke their children up and made them cry. The noise was the sound of a loose floorboard shifting as I crept to my bathroom, and again on my way back to bed. They've sworn to get me evicted. FML
Today, I found out my upstairs neighbors filed a noise complaint against me for banging on the ceiling every night. They conveniently left out the part where they constantly stomp, shout, and do stuff that sounds like they're dropping bricks to the floor every night. FML
YELP!
Today, my new neighbours moved in. I had always thought my bedroom wall was soundproof, because my old neighbours never complained about my loud night terrors. Turns out they were just stone deaf. The new ones can hear everything. FML
Today, I finally decided to go talk to my upstairs neighbour about the loud banging noises he makes every single morning around 8 a.m. It worked. Now he starts at 7 a.m. FML
Noise annoys
Today, my neighbor got a ridiculous surround sound system that sounds like Jurassic fucking Park come to life. My walls are literally shaking. I tried asking nicely for them to turn it down. They told me to fuck off, and that if I call the cops with a noise complaint, well… they know where I live. FML
Oh no…
Today, I met my new upstairs neighbors and their 4 kids all under the age of 6. I met them due to all the thudding coming from upstairs. FML
Today, I have to wear earplugs in my own apartment because my neighbor won't turn down his music. My landlord doesn't believe me because "people with disabilities can't be rude." FML
Quiet
Today, I saw my upstairs neighbor outside getting the mail. She asked how my day was, and then apologized that the sound of her baby's crying through the walls kept me up last night. Apparently she heard me when I yelled at 2am for her fucking demon spawn to shut up. FML
Maoism intensifies
Today, like every evening, our place is literally shaking with banging noises from the apartment below. Are they raising ponies down there? Wrecking the furniture? Taking out some walls? No, it's just my landlord's six-year-old. Playing. FML

that does not at all explain why theyre so noisy. if its because of his wheelchair, they need to put down carpet. disabled people can be inconsiderate too.

How did you live downstairs from your neighbour for eight months and never quite notice that he was in a wheelchair?

OP--Sounds fake to me--what's a para doing living on an upper floor. If it was all they could find, then I am sure you will do the honorable thing and offer to swap apartments with them.

Perhaps they were having sex, then? I'd imagine it would get a bit loud with a wheelchair in the picture.

Maybe they can’t afford to or they aren’t allowed. Some apartment complexes won’t allow you to remodel in anyway. Ever think of that?

Lame excuse. How is a wheelchair that noisy!?

Having just looked up the word 'paraplegic' on the internet, i still don't quite understand why he'd be making that much noise. I think that it's harsh of them to be using that as an excuse, i swear wheelchairs are quite quiet.

I don't think they'd be having sex if he's paralyzed from the waist down. AKA he can't get hard. AKA no sex.

I'm pretty sure he still has blood flow, just no feeling down below the belt. So if he was "in the mood", it could still happen.

They still get hard. Are you ******* dumb? Are all you people so dumb you don't know what paraplegic means?
