Today, my downstairs neighbours screamed at me for making so much noise that I woke their children up and made them cry. The noise was the sound of a loose floorboard shifting as I crept to my bathroom, and again on my way back to bed. They've sworn to get me evicted. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out my upstairs neighbors filed a noise complaint against me for banging on the ceiling every night. They conveniently left out the part where they constantly stomp, shout, and do stuff that sounds like they're dropping bricks to the floor every night. FML
Mr Heckles
Today, my neighbors in the apartment above me yet again had a loud fight, well past midnight while I was trying to sleep. I stood on my bed and pounded on the ceiling to shut them up. And now I'll have to explain the two fist-shaped holes in the ceiling to my landlord. FML
How the other half lives
Today, I got a noise complaint about "loud stomping" in my apartment disturbing the tenant below. I guess I'm supposed to tell my sweet children that they are no longer allowed to play in their own home. FML
Mrs Heckles?
Today, my batshit crazy downstairs neighbor threatened me with "legal action" for making too much noise. According to her, it’s "illegal" for people in upstairs apartments to use vacuum cleaners, therefore I must sweep my carpets to avoid disturbing her and her imaginary guests. FML
Won't You Be My Neighbor?
Today, after months of peace and quiet since January, a new family moved into the apartment below me ten minutes before I was about to go to sleep. They've been here for 30 minutes and already they're stomping and banging doors all over the place. FML
YELP!
Today, my new neighbours moved in. I had always thought my bedroom wall was soundproof, because my old neighbours never complained about my loud night terrors. Turns out they were just stone deaf. The new ones can hear everything. FML
Hogs!
Today, I was awoken at 3am by hotel management to tell me they received complaints about me from every room within 30 yards of mine, including from the floors above and below me. What was my crime? Snoring loud enough to rattle windows on the other side of the building. FML
Today, I found out that there's a very loud and frisky couple living above my bedroom, and a family with a crying baby living above my living room. At this rate, I'll end up sleeping in the bathtub in my own home. FML
Sax appeal
Today, I left my window open while practicing the saxophone. My drunk neighbours showed their appreciation for the music with a well-aimed firecracker that set my mattress on fire. My landlord has threatened to evict me as she thinks I set it off. FML
Quiet
Today, I saw my upstairs neighbor outside getting the mail. She asked how my day was, and then apologized that the sound of her baby's crying through the walls kept me up last night. Apparently she heard me when I yelled at 2am for her fucking demon spawn to shut up. FML

I highly doubt they'll be able to make a good case against you to evict you in front of your landlord (unless they make stuff up). Keep your chin up, don't take shit from shitty neighbours!

What don't people get about living in an apartment. You have neighbors and are going to hear them. Is it pleasant? No but that's just apart of living in an apartment. Besides tell them their crying kids keep you up at night.

I don't think pissing his bed will effect his neighbors at all

Because of the little male sign in the upper left corner... *facepalm* I'm on the FML app but I know for a fact it's also somewhere on the website, as well.

@59 not "awks" your just stupid :)

*you're Avoid grammatical errors when calling someone stupid. That's just embarrassing.

Hey 80, you should try to avoid sentence structure errors when attempting to insult someone. You have no subject, just a predicate. We all know "that's just embarrassing." Just saying (:

"Should have" At any rate, OP, I bet that neighbor's little brats disturb your peace. Not to mention that floorboards creak sometimes. I'm sure that whiny mom doesn't have a case against you.

Lose some weight?

Pretty sure if it's creaking floor boards you won't get evicted. If they complain you landlord should have to get the floor fixed to avoid further complaints. Good luck with those neighbors!

If it's that bad of a problem, it should definitely be checked out. Use your tippy toes in the meantime!
VannahJane 17
OP crept that most likely means they were using their 'tippy toes'
igive 29
Plus it's not their problem to fix the boards, it's the landlord's.

Have you ever lived above someone? Every step you make basically makes a sound and I was really small at the time. We use to always get complaints and our neighbor would take a broomstick and hit their ceiling even if it was 2pm -_- It's hard to not make any footstep noises :-P

I used to have a neighbor like that below me. No matter what time of day they'd bang in the floor at the slightest noise and complain to the landlord that we were making banging noises all day and night! We finally had to move apartments cause the complaining and banging got so bad. I did think it was funny when they kept complaining AFTER we moved out and no one was there.

48) Sadly, some people just want a reason to complain.
snarkytruth 37
Wow that proves your case to bad you're the one that had to do all the work moving your stuff
MrBrightside21 20
Scream at them for keeping you awake with the crying babies.
ShannyAK 16
Take them to court because thats just not fair
lilhellian 27
He can't sue over this.. If he were to get evicted maybe, but I highly doubt it...
VannahJane 17
Why do people think the answer to everything is suing?
igive 29
There are no logical reasons he can sue them for.
Jaevwyn 17
Agreed #28 it's just sad and pathetic :/
SillyGirl4602 23
You can't take a person to court just because something isn't fair. He should talk to his landlord about the problem.
klovemachine 24
Geez that neighbor is overreacting just a tad bit :-(

Get a bedpan. Problem solved. Your welcome.
igive 29
Then throw the bed pan contents out the window on her head like they do in old Europe.
