Today, after my parents left for the weekend, my "friends" decided to throw a party at my house, despite my protests. In order to get them to leave, I called the police. I was the only one arrested, while they got warnings. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
No means no, Deborah
Today, it's my birthday. A month ago, I'd told everyone I invited to my party that it was going to be adults only. One of my friends brought her kids with her anyway, then started screaming and trashing the place when I politely asked her to leave. The cops had to be called to finally get her out of my house. FML
No escape
Today, I went to a party and the cops came to bust the party. I jumped out the window of a second story house in order to avoid getting arrested. I broke my leg in three places and got a concussion. The cops let everyone go with a warning. FML
Being boring
Today, I had my 18th birthday party. At midnight, three police officers showed up at my door and asked if they could look around. Were we doing anything bad? Nope. My friends suck at parking. Before they left, the officers said that this was the most toned down party they'd seen in years. FML
Unruly meets incompetence
Today, I was in the library when police arrested me for threatening people. The librarian even told them I did nothing wrong, and that the actual girl they wanted had already left. They took me in anyway. My dad sided with the police and let me “think about what I did” in jail overnight. FML
Messed up
Today, as I returned home, I noticed some movement inside my house. Thinking it was a break-in, I called 911. It was my friends and some coworkers trying to throw me a surprise birthday party. Nobody's said a word to me since. FML
Today, my parents yelled at me for coming home drunk from a party last night. They said I couldn't hang out with my best friend anymore as he's a "bad influence". He was the only one sober in our group and drove me home safely. FML
Self report
Today, I thought I had gotten away with throwing a party while my folks were gone the night before. They came home and I was as sweet as possible. I could tell they were not buying it, but I thought I was in the clear. Later, they told me I had drunk-dialled them and spilled the beans. FML
Today, I was the designated driver. On the way home with my drunk friends, they decide to give me a beer shower. I swerved, and was pulled over by a cop moments after. I was the only one arrested. FML
Ratted
Today, one of my friends got me in trouble when he called our house and asked my parents why they didn't see us at a school conference. My parents were at a meeting elsewhere at the time, so I didn't bother to tell them about it, as we couldn't have gone there to begin with, and it was voluntary. They're mad anyway. FML
PARTAY!
Today, I threw a party while my parents were gone. I forgot that our alarm automatically turns on at 11 pm, so when people opened the door, it went off. I couldn't find the number for the alarm company, so the cops showed up. Everyone started cheering because they thought they were strippers. FML

Don't bother with those people any longer, OP. They don't respect your property or your opinions and they will just end up using you for as long as they can get away with it.

If my "friends" disrespected my protests and threw a party in my home without my permission, I would no longer consider them friends.

This reminds me of a book I read where something like this happens, except when the person called the police, the people cleared out and everyone complemented the girl on doing the right thing. Not as cheesily as I make it sound, but you know. The police do what they can so civilians hold them in higher regard. . .

Congrats for calling the cops on yourself which is basically what you did.. It's your house thus you are responsible for what's going on there so if it was completely out of control of course you got arrested.

Not really. If someone is in your house and refuses to leave, you can call the cops for unlawful entry, which is basically what happens here. Why would you be the one who gets arrested?

Of course you'd be arrested, it's your house that the party was happening at

The cops probably thought you were just lying because it got out of control and didn't want to get in trouble.

Am I hearing this right? It's his fault because it's his house? I think that's why he called the cops because the other people were trespassing ~_~ common sense people
