Today, after moving into my new house, I agreed to let my house mates have a house warming on the condition it be a small one, as I have exams all day that day and one that I can't fail on the very next morning. The facebook event guest list now has 100+ confirmed guests. FML

Today, I'm having my housewarming party and had prepared food, drink, and games for all the 19 confirmed guests on Facebook. I waited till 11, but nobody showed up. I checked Facebook again and realized I had accidentally put tomorrow as the party date. I have to work the whole day tomorrow. FML
Today, my housemates are throwing a huge house party to celebrate finishing their finals. It's 4:30am and people are still arriving. I have my last final in 3 hours. FML
Today, after a long night of studying, my roommate and her friends decided it would be fun to throw a mini party in my room at 7am. FML
Today, everyone at work was demanding I stage a party at my house. I agreed to it and rushed home to tidy up before the guests arrived. No one showed up. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I moved into our own house. He proceeded to invite his parents to stay for the week. The same parents we've lived with for the past 5 years. FML
Today, while away on training with the army, my housemates rang me to tell me some news. They had found a perfect house for next year and they had put an offer on it. The only problem? There are 5 of us and the house is for 4. Guess who hasn't been included. FML
Today, I checked the Facebook event page that I had set up a week ago for my 21st birthday at an awesome restaurant/bar. Out of 39 invitees, the only person who'd said yes was my boyfriend. FML
Today, all of my roommates handed in their vacating notice unexpectedly. They are all moving to a new house together in two weeks, leaving me to be either homeless or forced to pay 4 times what I was paying in rent. FML
Today, I was checking the Facebook event page to see who is attending the party I am having this weekend, since my parents are going out of town. 1 person has confirmed. My mom. FML
Today, while celebrating at my friend's birthday party, I fell down a flight of stairs, got into a fight with my flatmate, and ruined my friend's outfit after drinking too much. I'm expecting I'll need to find a new place to live tomorrow. FML

I don't know why so many people think this is a YDI. It sucks that your housemates went ahead with their big plans even after you mentioned your exams. Can you head to a late-night coffee shop or library to study? I could talk about my awful ex-roommate experiences for hours - I definitely got used to getting work done outside of the house. If it weren't for the 24-hour room on my campus and local late-night coffee shops, I don't think I could have passed my classes!

If it hasn't happened yet then why are you so upset? Maybe it won't be that bad. Maybe you could use your online time to cancel the party instead of writing an FML.

If I were you, I would lock all doors and any entrances to the house and go to a library or hotel room or something and study there.

Try finding a friend to let you stay with them that day and the next. And honestly, you should be well prepared for an important exam a few days before you actually take them, not leaving it to the day of/before to study and know your sh*t
