Today, a phone I bought online turned up while I was at work. The delivery guy left a note saying he'd left the package with my neighbor at #10. When I went and knocked on the door and asked for the package, my neighbor said "Nope, nothing delivered here." and quickly shut the door in my face. FML

Report them! You have the delivery guy as a witness, and I'd assume they had to sign for the package. Don't let them get away with theft!

Buy a phone online, they said. It will be fun, they said. But seriously, you have a dick neighbour. FYL

that delivery guy is at fault, honestly, he isn't allowed to let others Sign for the package unless stated on the delivery form

This is why you don't buy important stuff online GO TO THE PHONE STORE!!!!

Why would a delivery guy give someone's package to his/her neighbor??? FYL OP.

the delivery driver legally cant do that. go to the delivery company and demanndthey refund you the shipping, pay for the phone and pay for a new phone.

What a sneaky, mother ******. I'd call the delivery company and get them on the phone and go to your neighbors house and demand your phone back. I'd be so pissed if that were me. Sorry OP, people suck.

Bust down the door and kick some ass!!!

Let your neighbor know that you have the delivery man as a witness and that what he did is a federal crime, punishable up to 5 years in prison. Also, demand the shipping company pay for everything if you did not state another can sign for the package.

By a "phone" do you mean a Bad Dragon toy? I wouldn't return that either...

Don't let that shit slide! Get that taken care of man

Based on neighbor at #10 I assume apartment complex, with a front office. That'd be the only other place they can drop packages off besides the intended recipient. Not random neighbor, even doorstep is more likely. I had some guy drop off a very important package by leaving it at my door and not even knocking. Glad I saw it on the way to class.
