Today, a man slapped me in the face with his newspaper because I didn't get out of his way fast enough at the train station. I guess he didn't notice I was on crutches. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, on my way to school, I was shouted at by an obnoxious businessman for sitting down on the train when a "full fare paying passenger" was standing. I would normally have given him the seat straight away, except I have a broken leg. I showed him my leg and crutches. He still made me get up. FML
Today, I was quietly reading in the subway, when all of a sudden, at a station, the man sitting next to me stood up, slapped me, yelled "Bitch!", and rushed off the train. FML
Today, I got on the subway with a broken leg. A kind woman stood up and offered me her seat. Before I could sit down, a guy shoved past me and took it for himself. The woman and I pointed out my cast and crutches, and asked him to give up the seat. He responded by flipping us off. FML
Today, I was rushing to get on the train to work as I heard the "door closing" beeps. I was about to step onto the train when a man pushed me out of the way so that he could get on. My handbag fell out of my hand into the carriage. I stayed on the platform. FML
Today, I got punched in the back by elderly woman because she thought I was mocking the way she walked as I passed her. I was walking funny because I have a brace-boot on my foot due to the fact that it got run over. FML
Today, I was brutally run over by a man in a wheelchair. FML
Today, as I was trying to get off a crowded train, some asshole pushed past me hard enough to nearly knock me over. My bag hit a preschool kid standing behind me, and I missed my stop trying to apologize to him. His mom yelled at me all the way to the next stop. FML
Today, I was walking out of the train station when an old man grabbed me. I started screaming, yelling, "HELP" like a madwoman and tried pushing him away - that's when I saw the golf cart rush past me. He was trying to push me aside from getting run over. Everyone started laughing. FML
Today, I was on a crowded subway going home. My trousers were a bit dusty so I tried to dust myself off. As I was slapping the side of my leg I missed and hit a woman behind me in the ass. She called me a pervert and walked off. Everyone stared at me. It takes 40 minutes to get home. FML
Today, I shouted, "Fuck off!" out of reflex when I felt someone behind me grab my bag and pull it off my shoulder. It turned out to be an elderly man with a walking stick, who was trying to steady himself in a busy crowd. FML

and also, it was no mention about him being old! the way the older generation are is because everything was different back then, chivalry was very much alive so politeness was always around. let's be honest, some of our generation have gone and ****** that up by not even holding doors open for people these days! I feel sorry for the older generation because they've experienced polite people and some of the people our age are disgusting enough to threaten/rob/make fun of older people and I bet 93 that you're one that gets extremely annoyed when an older person can't walk as fast as you!

Also I agree with them in saying that not all, but a lot of elderly people do tend to do whatever they want because no one wants to be rude and call them out on it. Always the optimist. ;) Although it makes me wonder what type of mental disorder would cause him to react in such a way, and if it's really that severe, why he would be out roaming the streets unsupervised (unless he was homeless or something)? Your explanation is definitely plausible, though. I just made the assumption that the guy was a normal dude, in too much of a hurry to be respectful, based on the FML's wording.
