Today, a calf kicked a needle straight into my arm hard enough to make me stab myself. The good news is I'm now fully vaccinated for cow diseases. FML

hey op here, wow the things city people don't understand! First off, each and every calf must be vaccinated or they could become Ill.Second I wasn't in front of the calf, the person holding the calf let go of it unexpectedly

aww that sucks! i was giving a calf a shot one time and my cousin wasnt holding it tight enough and it bucked and broke the needle off inside the calf . . .

OP, accident do happen and can happen with anyone...do watch out for any side -effects as you had pushed animal vaccine.

I've had this happen to me before. Watch carefully for any side effects of the vaccine. I was giving one of my show heifers a wart vaccine one time and she pulled out of the chute and bucked. The needle went into my arm along with part of the vaccine and I had a horrible rash and swelling on my whole arm
