This Charming Man
Today, I explained to my man child of a boyfriend that we don't reuse dirty dishes. We have to wash them. He doesn't think it's gross and yelled at me, throwing the pan in the sink. Oh, he also refuses to wash dishes. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my boyfriend told me that I have the bad habit of not doing the dishes before he has his daily piss in the sink. FML
Today, my boyfriend yelled at me from the other room for washing the dishes "too loudly". FML
Today, I had to yet again explain to the guy I live with that just because you can't see dirt, it doesn't mean it's clean. And so letting his dog lick the plates is NOT the same thing as washing up. He won't listen to me, and he uses my plates. FML
Today, I discovered that my boyfriend, the one who does all the cooking in the house, doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom. FML
Today, my boyfriend set up a very romantic dinner. Afterwards, he offered to wash the dishes while I went upstairs and relaxed. His way of washing the dishes was to scrape all the food off, then wipe the juices off the dishes with a paper towel before putting them back in the cupboards. FML
Today, I told my boyfriend to stop criticizing my son for his table manners. He said, "It's man things, you wouldn't understand." He acted surprised when I blew my top and told him to leave. FML
Today, my boyfriend, who moved in about a month ago, decided he wanted to move back out. Why? Because I don't keep my place clean enough for him. This, coming from the same man who refuses to wash or clean anything because "that's what women are for." FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that it's "disgusting" to wash your "rear end" and that he has never, and will never, do it. FML
Today, my boyfriend was serving dinner, and decided to circle the table with my son's plate while making UFO noises. My son grabbed at the plate and spilled it, making a huge mess. They both decided that I should clean it up. FML
Today, even if I clean the whole house, my husband refuses to wash dishes if I cook, as I “use too many”, because when he cooks he only uses one pot. His “cooking” is dumping all the week's leftovers into a pot and calling it “stir fry.” It’s disgusting and he’s the only one that eats it. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?

I'll bet money he does this with other essential chores and activities so simple solution: break up and find a more mature individual if he doesn't grown the hell up

He’s not boyfriend material.

I mean I reuse some of my dishes like pans depending what I've cooked in them, like if there's nothing stuck to the pan and can be wiped off with a paper towel easily then I think its fine, if there a bunch of stuff stuck to it then yeah definitely wash that shit, also I'll use the same plate all day as long as there's nothing stuck on it. but I would definitely find it annoying that he doesn't even do dishes, he should definitely be doing some dishes seeing that he lives there too

The thing is bacteria tend to feed off of food even if we can't necessarily see the food or bacteria, it is there. The best temperature for bacteria to grow is between 40-140 degrees Fahrenheit. So room temperature is an excellent temperature for bacterial growth. It's best to wash dishes before using them again because you could have pathogens growing on the food.

doesnt bacteria grow on plates itself after they are washed & sitting on the racks?

Did you just move in together? I'm more worried about his anger issues. What else doesn't he do? Does he yell a lot? I'd leave and not come back My cast iron gets wiped clean. Maybe get paper plates?

Because this never works. BF will use every dish available and never clean them. Just toss the bf.

lol, I'd toss him too, he's not even worth the effort of separating dishes because he's just asking for critters... filthy animal...

If he's acting like a child, he should be treated like one. Take away his XBox or whatever his current favorite possession is. And seriously reevaluate the relationship.
