Today, after three weeks of fighting with my husband, I found out that he really didn't create an account on a website for cheaters and charge the bill to his credit card. Our daughter did it as a prank, and only confessed because our fighting was stressing her out. FML

Today, I found out my 7-year-old daughter really did lie about my husband's "other girlfriend" as revenge for being grounded, and that he never cheated on me at all. We're well into our divorce proceedings and he won't forgive me for not believing him when he denied it. FML
Today, I found out my husband has racked up $3000 on our credit cards, and ruined my credit score. When confronted, all he had to say was, "Well you didn't tell me when you bought that ten-dollar t-shirt, so I guess we're even." FML
Today, after I found out my husband cheated on me and then yesterday had to stop him from trying to kill himself, he's now moved out and has decided that this is all my fault. FML
Today, I found out my fiancé is in the market for a new girlfriend. How? He used my credit card to sign up for 3 dating sites. FML
Today, I discovered that my fiancé had tried to fake his own death because he thought it would be easier than confessing to the affair he was having. FML
Today, a misunderstanding led to me falsely accusing my husband of cheating. We cleared it up and he forgave me and everything, but my parents are still convinced that he cheated, and won't believe me when I say he wasn't. FML
Today, I found out my husband spent us into overdraft charges through compulsive online shopping. Again. FML
Today, I found out that my husband was trying to cheat on me while I was away at basic training. I signed up for the service to pay off his debt. FML
Today, I found out my husband has been talking to another woman on Facebook. His only defense was, "I thought I deleted the messages." FML

Your kid needs to meet what we in the south call a switch. After that, as other commenters have said, ground that little bitch until the ******* apocalypse--no privileges, I mean NOTHING. There's a difference between a disciplinary problem and an insidious, cruel, backhanded "prank" (which she absolutely knew what the result of which would be) that could have ruined your marriage and destroyed your family. It wasn't a joke. Show that girl you're not laughing. If she is taking the fall for your husband, well...y'all have got some more serious shit going on and should probably try to cash in on a reality show while the gettin's good.

You've raised a child with such a complete disregard for other people that I think clinical action is required. She didn't just do something malicious to ruin a stranger's life, she did it to her own parents. A prank would have been to do it, cause some drama, and then fess up that day. To let it go on for weeks and only confess because she was getting annoyed with your and your husband's heartbreak is honestly a very very bad sign. Seek family counseling. Now. There are a lot of low cost options out there for people if your money is limited. If she'll do this her own parents, what will she do for fun to complete strangers?
