Today, I met my biological parents for the first time, 29 years into my life. They turned out to be two of the most pathetic people I have ever met, and the meeting ended after they asked me to lend them money because I "literally owe them my life." FML

Today, I met my biological father for the first time. He seemed to be slightly intoxicated from the outset, and less than half an hour later, he had tried to intimidate me into "loaning" him several hundred euros for reasons he wouldn't tell me. So long, "dad". FML
Today, I met my biological parents for the first time. Their justification for giving me up for adoption was that I wasn't conceived at the ideal time for them. Apparently, the ideal time was six months after the adoption, when they conceived the first of my two brothers. FML
Today, I met my biological mother for the first time. She stole my wallet. FML
Today, I met my paternal grandparents for the first time, since my dad was never in my life and my mom wouldn’t talk about him. According to them, I have at least 28 other siblings from him, and who knows how many that haven’t come forward. No wonder my mom always hated him. FML
Today, I'm 36 years-old, living with my parents, in debt. My mom always wants to solve my problems by giving me money, which she later claims as "borrowed", so now I'm highly in debt with the bank… and her. FML
Today, I tried to confront my parents with the fact that they're almost certainly going to outlive me unless I radically change my lifestyle, and that I needed their assistance to help me stay on track. I only realized after my impassioned speech that they were ignoring me the whole time. FML
Today, my mom told me that she had great news: we were going to meet my biological parents. I didn't know I was adopted. FML
Today, I found out that my parents are 28,000 dollars in debt and that my bank account has $27.17 in it. They took my money to help pay their debt. FML
Today, both my mom and dad agreed I basically ruined their life by existing. They weren’t even trying to be mean, they just casually mentioned that their lives were brilliant before me, then after I was born everything turned to shit and they’ve been miserable ever since. FML
Today, after going to my friend's house for the first time and seeing how their parents treat them, I realized that I’ve never once experienced parental love in my entire life. FML

You went 29yrs without them OP I think you be just fine without having them for another 29yrs. Hopefully you had great adoptive parents while growing up.

That is a fml for sure. Always wondered if something like that would happen how it would be. Sorry for your experience. That sucks. But you have a great set of adopted parents.

Here's something interesting about my birth parents, when they first met my adoptive parents, my adoptive family felt obligated to help them out, mostly since they were impoverished and immigrants, this was solely because when my birth father's family first moved to Canada, a Muslim family not only bought them a house, but also the building my grandpa put his restaurant. My birth parents happened to be muslims.

Well, there was a reason for them giving you up. Good thing is they had the sense to do it - just imagine if they had kept you... So don't bother with them, and just be happy that there was a family to take you in and care for you instead.
