Still not calling it X
Today, I googled myself in preparation for my upcoming job interview. Turns out there's a girl on Twitter with my name and age who tweets nonstop about getting wasted and being on probation. She won't make her profile private. FML
They'll be able to tell the difference between you and someone else

Add your middle name to your resume, that's exactly the sort of thing its for, clear identification. You could also start your own twitter feed under your name using your middle initial. Good catch, a lot of companies are using social media to screen out the riffraff.

Make up a Twitter account of yourself, and make sure to use your full name identically with your resumé. Complete your Twitter account with a nice picture of yourself, and a few updates about drinking tea, reading a good book, completing some work or personal projects and meeting up with friends for cultural events - stuff that makes you look good.
Unless she looks exactly like you then I wouldn't bother. Any smart person would know there are more then one person with the same name out there. Especially if it's a common first name and last name for your country.
I made a mistake when I read this. I meant to say that if someone was impersonating her, with pictures and information all the same, then to flip out on her. But now that people have commented saying it was only her name not anything else, I wouldn't worry about it. Again sorry for the misunderstanding. My number was #82

Any employer that's dumb enough to think there's only one person in the world with your name is an employer you don't want to work for anyway.

I'm sure you could explain the situation to employers

You could just make a few variations to differentiate yourself from that person.
