Spare
Today, one of my tires blew out on the highway. I managed to slow down and pull over without dying, and went to get my spare tire. I found it right where it was supposed to be, knifed to hell and with a taunting note from my psycho ex taped to it. We broke up nearly 3 years ago. FML

I would definitely call the police and get a restraining order if you haven't already.

As bad as I feel for you OP, both FYL and YDI because you should always check your spare regularly. Hope you get something sorted out with her soon! I recommend a restraining order!

She sounds like a retread.

oh, the irony.

I say both. Unless she broke into your car recently and knifed it, then it's a straight FYL. If she did it 3 years ago then it's partially a YDI for you not monitoring your spare tire's air pressure in all that time since.

I am interested to know if the knife was put there 3 years ago, or recently?

YDI for not checking your spare regularly. Besides that, what a psycho ex! Good riddance!

Did you have the car this long and this is from the time of the breakup? Or is she really that crazy and stalked you 3 years later?

Another example of why people should check their spares at least once a year
