Today, after graduating from the same program, I was offered several jobs, while my boyfriend wasn’t. He couldn’t be happy for me, saying, "She got in with the right people, and they just keep handing her jobs," and dismissing my work ethic. FML

Today, after spending 8 months and $11,000 on school, I was denied a job in my chosen career field. They told me they decided to go with someone with more experience. So who got the job? One of my classmates. This is her first job. EVER. FML
Today, I got a sweet promotion at my job. Instead of being happy and celebrating with me, my boyfriend broke up with me because he is jealous that I'm more successful than he is. FML
Today, my now ex-boyfriend begged me not to take an amazing promotion at my job. He reasoned that he’d be emasculated and humiliated if he had a girlfriend that outranked and out-earned him. I had to celebrate alone as my whole family lives in another state. Congrats to me but also, FML
Today, after I helped get my boyfriend get a new job, he thanked me by dumping me for some whore who works there. FML
Today, I finally landed a new job, and thinking he would be proud, I told my boyfriend. Instead of congratulating me, he got mad that my work hours include Saturday, his laundry day. FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me because she believes I "jinxed" her chances of getting the job she wanted. FML
Today, I eagerly applied for a high-salary, fully supportive graduate program that I qualified for. There were 5 steps in the application process. I was turned down after the first one. FML
Today, I got my first job after having spent months looking, and graduating college in the meantime. I got it based on my pre-college qualifications. FML
Today, my boss told me I got my new job because she rejected candidates that seemed "too confident" or "too pretty." FML
Today, I learned that, even after several interviews and congratulations for getting the job, you still might not get the job. I just received an email stating that my accepted offer is now rejected. I already treated my close friends to an expensive dinner to celebrate. FML

A partner that won't help lift you up isn't worth it. If he drags you down about this now, imagine what it'll be like in a few months or years when a promotion comes up or if he still cannot find work in the field. Partners are supposed to be supportive and uplifting.

Well he's probably right, networking is a major part of any training program, yet its easy to overlook. Sounds like he's just a bit jealous, always sucks when you feel like you've done everything right but fail anyways.

A partner that won't help lift you up isn't worth it. If he drags you down about this now, imagine what it'll be like in a few months or years when a promotion comes up or if he still cannot find work in the field. Partners are supposed to be supportive and uplifting.

if he can't be Happy for you and with you walk out it's only going to get worst. he's gonna start by saying things were handed to you and you don't deserve any happiness until you actually start to believe it and that when the real abuse starts when he broke your spirit and believe you can't do anything without him. just ship now before it's too late. just look back and see if he was ever happy for for anything you've done and was praise for by other people if he never wasit shows his insecurities and is trying to control and break you down. For real if he can't be happy with you and for you run. the only things he'll celebrate are little things he'll do for you and forever hold it against you replacing any happiness you have had before him with menial things he's done.
