Snappy snaps
Today, I went to pick up some pictures I took on a family trip, but the person at the counter said someone else had already picked them up. Now not only am I out $20, some random creep has pictures of me and my whole family. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, at a family reunion, we all squeezed in for a picture. I set the self-timer and ran to get in it. 2 seconds before the picture went off, some guy came up, stole the camera, and ran away. FML
Today, I went to my grandma's yard sale, only to find my baby pictures being sold for 25 cents each. FML
Today, I went for coffee with some people from work. I lined up to order behind a guy I'd only met a few times. When he paid, he dropped his wallet, and I saw that he had a picture of me cut from the company newsletter, enlarged, and taped inside his wallet. FML
Today, I saw a shady looking person on the street. As I walked past him, he said, "Hey, come here." Thinking he needed something, I went over. He handed me several pictures of my wife, in public and at home. I've never seen this man before in my life. FML
Today, I was using a Kodak Picture Maker in Walmart. I needed help using the machine so the lady that works there came over and tried to load my pictures. I heard some snickering behind me from the people in line. Turns out the pictures loaded. Even the nude ones I forgot about. FML
Today, a "friend" tried to sell me a digital camera that I recognized that was stolen from my home a week earlier, along with a few other things. FML
Today, I was taking a group shot with my friends when I asked a stranger to take the picture for us. He backed up and told us to squish closer together, and when he was at least 20 feet away, he turned and ran off with my camera. FML
Today, a teenage girl with a selfie stick came into my workplace. She knocked down multiple displays while trying to take pictures, before leaving without making a purchase. I had to clean it all up. FML
Today, I was walking when a man pointed a camera at me. I got bitchy about it, and said "Did I say you could take a picture?" He replied with, "No, but can you get the fuck out of the way so I can take one of my wife and kids?" I turned around, and they were right behind me. FML
Today, I asked a woman to take a picture of me and my girlfriend kissing on the beach. When I looked up, the woman and my phone were gone. FML

Did anyone else you know you dropped them off? They could have got them for you if it was on the way to their destination

Maybe a family member already picked them up?

Who even wants pictures of other people's holiday. So weird

Stalkers and perves, just to name a few

I'm stumped as to how whoever picked them up did not open up the envelope right there (at least to see that the right order was developed and printed); which would have led to discovering the error. Although the memories of the holiday will stay with you, I still hope you get your pictures returned.

Not that big of a deal hahahaha. Just get another copy. Talk to their manager. You paid for it, you'll either get the pictures or a refund.

Who has film processed anymore? I haven't since the late '90s

I'd be pissed at the photo place. You need to complain to the management.

Just explain that no one else knew about your order to be able to pick them up, and they should reprint them. If a company messes up they have to pay for it, not you, that's how business works. Admittedly some employees are jerks, but hopefully the manager isn't.

Do photo places still exist?
