Congratulations, you're dating a child. If you aren't careful, someone might mistake you for a pedophile. Only a parent and child can get away with this conversation. "I love you." "I'm a dinosaur!" He's clearly not mature enough for a relationship, especially one that requires a commitment (considering you said you love him, I assume that's what you meant). So until he grows up, I'd leave him to enjoy the remainder of his childhood.
