Today, I noticed my parents replaced my senior picture that hung on our living room wall with a painted one. Of our German Shepherd. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my parents told me they wouldn't be able to afford my senior portraits. That was fine with me, until I found some expensive professional photos in the mail. Of our dog. FML
Today, I realized that there are more framed pictures of my mom's dog than pictures of me around the house. FML
Today, I noticed that a picture of me on my mum and dad's wall looked different. On closer inspection, I realised they'd recently painted over my teeth with white paint. I asked them why, and they said they looked 'discoloured'. It's my wedding photo. FML
Today, my dad and his new wife got their wedding pictures done. Out of over 150 pictures, I was only in one. The family dog was in all of them. In the one picture of me, I was holding the dog's leash while he took a dump. FML
Today, I got my nails, hair, and makeup professionally done for prom. My dad got his camera out, and I presumed he was taking pictures of my date and me. When I looked at the pictures later, they were all of the dog. FML
Today, my 7-month pitbull chewed up a framed picture of my parents and another framed picture of my other pitbull. Maybe he's mad I don't have any pictures of him framed yet? FML
Today, I came back from college and visited my parents house. There was a new family portrait hung over the mantel of my parents and 2 sisters. My mom had always wanted one but always postponed it. It was dated the day after I left for college. FML
Today, my parents dropped by my new house, and my mother offered to tidy up for me while I was out. After they left, I noticed that her "tidying up" included throwing out all the pictures of my girlfriend and replacing them with pictures of herself. FML
Today, I was perusing my mom's Facebook when I noticed that she has an album of pictures for each member of the family. All except me. Even the dog has his own album. FML
Today, my parents finally fulfilled my childhood dream and got a puppy, after years of me nagging at them. The only downside is that I no longer live at home and he's not mine. FML

Well, if you just graduated, sure, that's understandable. But if its been up for a bit, don't be so touchy. They're allowed to change things around. I get the feeling you don't live at home?

Ugh, why would you ever want a picture of yourself in the house? I hate it when my parents put school pictures up. That's why I always do my best to **** it up somehow. Paintings are cooler than picture, deal with it.

Does anyone watch Flight of the Conchords? On the show, there is a ridiculous painting of a german shepherd on the band's living room wall... it's so bad it's good. If the painting in question is half as awesome, I completely understand the need to make it a focal point.

Why do people feel a sense of entitlement when they accomplish something? Do you really want everyone to know that YOU, YES, YOU!!, did something fantastic, that only what, half the country has done. I'm assuming you meant Senior year in college. If you meant, Senior year of High School, yeah, my friend... you've got far more to start worrying about than which picture is hanging.
