Today, I finally got the wedding dress I've been waiting months to see. It turns out that my mom ordered the dress 2 sizes smaller than my size, this way it will be "an incentive to lose weight". FML
Today, I had to admit that I hate the wedding dress that I've designed. My wedding is in a week. FML
Today, it is my wedding day. I couldn't find my very expensive wedding dress anywhere. After almost 2 hours of panic and chaos, I found it in my pool, covered in red paint, with a note on one of my lounge chairs reading, "Today is MY wedding day, bitch." FML
Today, I finally got to experience being loved, or at least what it looks like. I paid for a fabulous wedding in a video game with a reluctant friend, who only agreed after I explained all the free costumes, pets, and other items he'd receive. FML
Today, I found myself crying for an hour when my recreated crush on The Sims 3 game rejected my character and ran off with someone else. FML
Today, I finally bought the expensive but beautifully stylish dress I've been eyeing for ages online. Ten minutes later, I went back to check the shoes the model was wearing so I could coordinate my outfit. The dress had been reduced to half price. FML
Today, my husband of ten years was playing the Sims. I asked him about the house he built. Apparently, it was his dream house, and he recreated himself as a Sim so he could live in it. Then I asked him where the wife was. There was no wife. It was his happy place. FML
Today, not only can I not get a real boyfriend, I can't even get one on the Sims. FML
Today, after saving up for a beautiful new dress to wear to my partner's 30th birthday party, it finally arrived in the post. I tried the dress on and the stitching instantly ripped, leaving two big holes in it. Turns out I'm no longer a size 8. FML
Today, I posted a pic of my prom dress on facebook. The dress looked amazing on me and it just felt so right. So I spent every single dollar I had and some borrowed to buy the dress. When I logged on later that night, the first comment asked "Is this a joke?" FML

Im sure with a little research you could find the same thing or something really similar, if not you could always get something made.

Take a picture to a bridal store and see if they can find something similar in real life.

If it's sims1 I'm impressed, skins for that game rarely have a great level of detail. Being a huge sims2 fan, however, if it's from a later game, the gown may well be inspired by an existing garment. Take a look at the creator's other works, I know I have literally hundreds of outfits based on real world clothing lines sitting in my 22gigs of downloads.

If you've found an image of the ideal dress, that's already one hurdle down! Even if it is from Sims, now you can show it to others or look around the internet or IRL stores with a concrete "This is what I'm looking for," rather than trying to describe it each time. :) Good luck!

There are thousands of styles of wedding dresses out there - and you may even find that dress outside of a bridal shop, as a regular party or formal dress. I'm curious what the dress looks like, I would totally love to help you find it!

If your real wedding dress doesn't end up being as nice, just recreate the wedding on Sims and live vicariously through your virtual self.... It's almost as good as the real thing!
