Not now!
Today, I went to see my banker. As we were finishing everything up, I leaned forward to sign something. As I went back to sit down, my two year-old pulled the chair out from under me, and I crashed down to the floor. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I fell off my chair, then missed it completely trying to sit back down. FML
Today, I leaned back in my chair during a meeting to appear (and feel) more relaxed. Instead, the chair tipped over, and I went down like a tree in slow motion. FML
Today, a kid in class dropped his paper on the floor. I held on to my desk with one hand and reached for the paper with my other hand. I lost balance and tilted both my chair and desk over, nailing the floor as everything on my desk hit the ground with me. He picked the paper up himself. FML
Today, I went into a restaurant with my family. I slipped off my chair, pulling the tablecloth with all the food and drinks on it with me onto the floor. FML
Today, I took my two-year-old daughter to the dentist for her first check-up. We were at the front desk when she tripped, fell and chipped her front tooth on the marble floor. FML
Today, my boss called to check if I was available for a last-minute meeting. Trying to sound professional, I sat up straight in my chair, only to forget I was sitting on a rolling chair with no lock. The chair slid back, I slipped off, and a loud crash echoed through the office. My boss asked if I was okay, and I tried pretending nothing happened. FML
Today, I went to sit on a desk chair, which promptly rolled out from under me. This made me fall on my own foot, literally shattering two bones. I just bought a 9-month gym membership and can't use it because I wanted to sit down. FML
Today, I was at work, photographing a baby boy. I grabbed a bench for him to use to hold himself upright. His mom asked if she should hold him instead, but I told her he'd be fine. Two seconds later, he fell backwards and brought the bench down on top of him. There goes my job. FML
Today, I was on a video call with my crush from work. Trying to look totally chill, I leaned back in my chair. The back of chair gave way, so I fell out of frame, and the only thing he saw before I disconnected was my foot in the air. FML
Today, my 3-year-old came to me very excited because he had gone to the bathroom by himself for the first time. What he did not tell me was that he had shit on the floor, and when I went into the bathroom to check, I slipped on a turd and knocked myself out on the sink. FML

Classic, he's gonna grow up to be one awesome prankster.

I think that even some of the best brought up children do things like this sometimes. The young child probably saw it on TV as a joke and decided to try it out. Even the most careful parents can't catch everything their kid is doing, especially when they're multitasking.

learn better parenting. if you had your eye on the kid there would have been no problem.

yes, that's right, keep your eye on the child while signing a paper... which likely only took 20 seconds... very obvious who the childless people are in these threads

you will never have complete control over a child. It kinda pisses me off when people just assume bad parenting when a 2 year old does something stupid. Especially when the parent has to focus on something important for 10 seconds

wow, it's called the terrible two's for a reason. most likely he wasn't even aware that the parent would fall. obviously anyone who says the kid is bad knows nothing about children and needs to shut the **** up.

It's called a contraction, not a pronoun.

my thoughts exactly 9

Maybe the OP is married and the kid was planned, not just the result of failed contraception? Not all kids are born because of people not using condoms or contraception, or contraception failing.

this is hardly FML worthy
