Not now!
Today, I went to see my banker. As we were finishing everything up, I leaned forward to sign something. As I went back to sit down, my two year-old pulled the chair out from under me, and I crashed down to the floor. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I fell off my chair, then missed it completely trying to sit back down. FML
Today, I leaned back in my chair during a meeting to appear (and feel) more relaxed. Instead, the chair tipped over, and I went down like a tree in slow motion. FML
Today, a kid in class dropped his paper on the floor. I held on to my desk with one hand and reached for the paper with my other hand. I lost balance and tilted both my chair and desk over, nailing the floor as everything on my desk hit the ground with me. He picked the paper up himself. FML
Today, I went into a restaurant with my family. I slipped off my chair, pulling the tablecloth with all the food and drinks on it with me onto the floor. FML
Today, I took my two-year-old daughter to the dentist for her first check-up. We were at the front desk when she tripped, fell and chipped her front tooth on the marble floor. FML
Today, my boss called to check if I was available for a last-minute meeting. Trying to sound professional, I sat up straight in my chair, only to forget I was sitting on a rolling chair with no lock. The chair slid back, I slipped off, and a loud crash echoed through the office. My boss asked if I was okay, and I tried pretending nothing happened. FML
Today, I went to sit on a desk chair, which promptly rolled out from under me. This made me fall on my own foot, literally shattering two bones. I just bought a 9-month gym membership and can't use it because I wanted to sit down. FML
Today, I was at work, photographing a baby boy. I grabbed a bench for him to use to hold himself upright. His mom asked if she should hold him instead, but I told her he'd be fine. Two seconds later, he fell backwards and brought the bench down on top of him. There goes my job. FML
Today, I was on a video call with my crush from work. Trying to look totally chill, I leaned back in my chair. The back of chair gave way, so I fell out of frame, and the only thing he saw before I disconnected was my foot in the air. FML
Today, my 3-year-old came to me very excited because he had gone to the bathroom by himself for the first time. What he did not tell me was that he had shit on the floor, and when I went into the bathroom to check, I slipped on a turd and knocked myself out on the sink. FML

I think that even some of the best brought up children do things like this sometimes. The young child probably saw it on TV as a joke and decided to try it out. Even the most careful parents can't catch everything their kid is doing, especially when they're multitasking.

I hate people who take FML seriously and write speeches and lectures in their comments. Please, comment this comment with your thoughts about my thoughts on comments.

am i not right? i mean dont you got better things to do then preach on FML?
redbluegreen 41
I hardly think a comment that takes less than two minutes to type really qualifies as either a speech, lecture, or preaching. Don't you have better things to do than troll?

Come on now, it's just silly to say there is no preaching on this site.

I have to agree with these two, preaching does frequently take place on here. 1 sentence...5, still happens. COD, you're an ass (who isn't?) but hey I play too.lol evildead360 is the username

Callofduty, you are trying to start a bunch of comments in which people will preach to you just by saying that. If the comments on FML are such a waste, don't read them. It's as simple as that. You're not going to change anybody that post comments so stop complaining.

Well, if you were keeping an eye on your rugrat instead of letting him run around the bank ......

OP never said that her kid was running around the bank; if the kid pulled the chair, he was obviously right there with her.

For those who are saying she is a bad parent, that is bull shit. She said she was taking care of buisness. it's not like she can leave him in the damn car or soemthing. he is two and that's the age when the think they can run around and do whateevr because they get bored easily. She was taking care of buisness so stop dogging on her
