Today, after two and a half hours of travel, it was finally my stop on the train. I politely waited for a group of women to get off first. They took so long to move that the train doors closed. I shouted at one through the door to call the conductor. She watched and smiled as the train departed. FML

This is why i have no qualms about shoving through people on the platform etc. People talk on their phones on the quiet car, cough all over the place without covering their mouths and huddle at the door when we aren't even near the station. Screw them

If there's one thing that taking public transport has taught me, it's that being polite is a big no-no. If you have to push past a group of women to get of the train at the risk of being seen as rude, then so be it!

Sorry OP, but you must be aware that there's a limited window to get out before the train doors close. You should have started making your way closer to the door earlier. It's just how it works.
