Today, when I arrived at work, I was greeted by my gorgeous coworker telling me my red shirt looked awesome on me. Before I could compliment her, she added that the color was fitting perfectly with my acne. I heard a couple of giggles around me. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I was giving a lecture when I noticed everyone smiling at me. I thought my jokes were finally landing until a coworker pointed out that the price tag from my brand-new shirt was hanging out of the back of my collar the entire time. FML
Today, I bought a new shirt I thought looked cool. At work, three people complimented me, then each one added a variation of, “My dad has the same one!” By lunch, my confidence had left the building entirely. A coworker even asked if I’d gotten it from the “retro section.” FML
Today, I wore a cute new striped shirt to work. One of my co-workers said to me, "I like your shirt. Most fat people don't look good in horizontals." FML
Today, a colleague said I looked “different” and I thought it was a compliment. It turns out they meant that I looked “tired and stressed.” I smiled awkwardly and said, “Thanks?” while internally dying. FML
Today, I told one of my coworkers that she looked really cute today. Later she sent an email to me and cc'd the entire office saying, "It really makes me feel uncomfortable when you say things like that to me. And I shouldn't have to feel that way at work." FML
Today, I asked a very attractive girl out, then later I ended up talking with her. One of my friends comes up to us and points out that I'm beet red and, "blushing like a bitch". She notices and laughs. FML
Today, the CEO of my company leaned over and said, "Hey, I've been meaning to thank you…" I thought he was going to thank me for all of my hard work, but he continued, "…for wearing that shirt today. I can totally see your boobs." FML
Today, as I was leaving the office, I heard my very cute coworker behind me say "Hey gorgeous, where are you off to?" I turned around with a smile and said "About to hit up happy hour." He was on the phone with his wife. I'm calling in sick tomorrow. FML
Today, I was with my boyfriend and I said that I was self-conscious of my acne. He told me that only one of my zits was noticeable and that it wasn't so bad. In fact he said it looked cool, like a bullet wound or something "awesome" like that. FML
Today, I was feeling pretty down due to a recent back injury, so I thought I’d do something nice to help lift my spirits. I bought some cookies for my coworkers, who ended up not wanting any, and one of them decided to ask what was wrong with my face. Oh, right, my acne rosacea is flaring too. FML

If it's any consolation, I had the same kind of issues in school. The hot chicks had to make us not-so-hot girls feel like crap whenever they had the chance to do it. Now, twenty years later, I have fun running into the former hot chicks, most of whom are pretty pathetic looking now. They've busted out a few kids, have flabby guts and big asses, wear mom jeans that look beyond lame, and have husbands looking for any excuse to get away from them and their idiotic scrapbooking obsessions. Meanwhile, I go to a reunion and have to tell their husbands to get lost and go back to their dumpy wives because it isn't my fault they married for looks that didn't last much beyond the honeymoon, and I'm infinitely hotter than any of them now. Don't worry, your time will come, I promise :)

Sorry, man. In high school I got a lot of that crap because I had a weird lisp and a lot of acne (in Secondary 1-3). It hurt a lot but what I learned with time is that even thought most people that say this crap are jerks and will stay jerks forever, it doesn't stop them from feeling guilty for a very, very long time because they still have a conscience somewhere in there. I stayed cold to them afterwards even thought I had forgiven them in my heart, not to be mean but just because they just weren't worth it. Don't worry, she'll probably make herself pay for it eventually.
