Today, I hooked up with a friend. I expressed an interest in it becoming something more. He expressed an interest in not telling anyone and pretending it never happened. FML
Today, I was at a guy's house that I’d been seeing for a while. After watching a movie, I confessed that after these past few times we’ve hung out, I’ve started to catch feelings. He looked at me and said, "I actually don’t think I want anything serious, but are you down to be friends with benefits?" FML
Today, after I confessed my feelings towards my long time crush two weeks ago and was rejected, he messaged me asking for a quick fuck, with no strings attached. I guess that’s all I am good for now. FML
Today, I hooked up with a guy I'm totally in love with. After finishing, he burst into tears about being in love with another girl. I had to comfort him. FML

Today, the guy I was hooking up with said he wasn’t “looking for anything serious.” That’s not what he told me when I agreed to the hookups with a promise of becoming something more. When I mentioned this to him, he said, “Well, that was before I knew what you looked like naked.” FML
Today, I hooked up with a guy. He didn't last 30 seconds before finishing, Then his car wouldn't start. I ended up walking home after a hook up that wasn't worth it. FML
Today, I finally got past my anxiety and confessed my feelings to the guy I like and have been intimate with. He responded that he just still wants to be close friends with me and still bang me monogamously, but with no relationship. FML

This is called a crush, or infatuation. It will disappear, as this is literally the only time you've spoken to him outside your one night hook-up. Don't kick yourself on it and get mad. You went in knowing the rules you BOTH set for yourself. Best is to just let it go, seriously.

Honestly I think you just felt more attraction and probably enjoyed the sex. Then afterwards you learned he was a smart person. That’s great but I don’t think after a one nightstand and a conversation you have true feelings. Maybe try and hookup again? But I wouldn’t push it on a relationship

This is one of risks of casual sexual relationships. As human beings, we have a tendency to “catch feelings” for someone we have been intimate with. Some people don’t feel this either because they are jaded by the frequency of these couplings, or they carefully guard their feelings, or they have sociopathic tendencies. Let this be a learning experience for you. Either make casual sexual experiences more rare unless you feel the possibility of chemistry between yourself and your partner, or guard your feelings more carefully if this is going to be something you do.
