Today, I got a urinary tract infection. I didn’t realize men could get those. Worse yet, my girlfriend thinks it’s an STI because, “IF I’M NOT FUCKING YOU, SOMEONE MUST BE!” FML

Today, my boyfriend was diagnosed with a UTI. He thought men can only get UTIs by "catching" them from a woman, so he blamed me for it. FML
Today, I went to the doctor's thinking I had a UTI. Turns out I have an STD. FML
Today, it's been a troubled day. Me and my girlfriend got into it because she believes that I stepped out on her, which I didn’t. I haven’t had sex in over 15 years. I'd gotten an STI from a ex, and had no idea that I had anything, so now I’m "nasty" according to her. FML
Today, I found out I have an STD, courtesy of my girlfriend. Funnily enough, she was clean when we first started dating. FML
Today, I found out I have a yeast infection, a bladder infection, and a urinary tract infection all at the same time. Oh, and I also have the flu. FML
Today, I got a yeast infection, caused by the antibiotics for my UTI. I got the UTI after having sex for the first time in a year. A couple of minutes of sex have ruined my health. FML
Today, I'm recovering from a urinary tract infection. The infection made me have to pee constantly. Now the antibiotics I'm taking for it are giving me the shits instead. FML
Today, I have a UTI that spread to my kidneys, a yeast infection, and a herpes outbreak. Oh, and my period came this morning. FML
Today, I found out the girl I gave my virginity to gave me gonorrhea. FML
Today, a few days after I let my boyfriend introduce food into our sex life and we used melted chocolate, I've now got a UTI. I’ve never had a UTI before in my life, so I’m blaming him for the fact it feels like I’m peeing needles dipped in acid. FML

I (male piping) had a UTI that was a precursor to the impending kidney stones (NOT FUN). So work with your Dr. As for the idea that there may be an STI, I know a few folks who picked up some in the wild without sex. It does happen. One friend ended up with a hysterectomy (beyond child bearing age). Yes men can get UTIs and she needs to trust you if you are being totally honest with her.

Oof. Got one from my wife one time. God, did it itch! She had one and didn’t know it. I now make sure i hop into the shower right after sex. She’s prone to getting them and I mangled to get it 2x on my dick. My fault for not washing right after sex, considering the history. She’s also one of those who scored the worst genetic lottery. It’s also easier to name the meds she ISN’T allergic to than is. It sucks when she needs medical treatment. She either gets dystonia, rashes, swelling or pain all over. She’s now having to treat her 3rd UTI in 6 months. I feel really bad for her. I don’t have to worry about allergies to meds like she does. She even gets rare medical issues (Like I do), so it sucks trying to find treatment for her.
