In distress
Today, the pharmacist warned me that my antibiotics might cause slight gastrointestinal distress. The fact that I have been on the john for the past 90 minutes drenched in sweat would lead me to believe our definitions of "slight" are a bit different. FML

Take a daily probiotic (at least 5 billion organisms)...Jarrow is a good brand...and triple it for the duration of your abx and for a week afterward. Also, yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut are good for the gut now, too.

#65, Repopulating the gut could help a mild problem, but could make the severe problem OP has worse. Severe requires medical advice on follow-up care.

And, I agree with Doc Bastard. His advice is sage.

I just had my gallbladder removed a month ago. I know how that kind of pain feels along with being in the bathroom a lot! Get better soon :)
