Today, I was fired for refusing to let a kid back into my classroom. This kid is a psycho. In the last month he punched my pregnant TA in the stomach, stabbed a girl with a pencil in the ribs, killed the class hamster, and a bunch of other stuff, but sure, I’m the problem and deserve to be fired. FML

Today, my son's "favorite" teacher went on a tirade criticizing my "awful" parenting. About two months ago, my son got her fired after he reported her to the principal for forcing him to miss out on lunch to finish a project. Apparently, that wasn't the first time she did something like that. FML
Today, I was teaching and a boy sitting in front kept laughing and smiling, even after I asked him to cut it out. I got so annoyed that I jokingly said I'd knock his teeth out, and asked him to leave the class. The kid went to the principal and told him I intended to hurt him. I'm a college professor. FML
Today, I got fired for not being mature enough. I just found out I’m pregnant. FML
Today, a woman accused me of bullying her son, and said that she is going to get me fired. Her son is a 27-year-old teacher at my school, whom I disciplined for showing up drunk. FML
Today, I got fired from my childcare job of five years because the other staff weren't as popular with the kids, so they accused me of being "creepy" because the kids all wanted to play a game with me instead of them. FML
Today, after weeks of stealing lunch from one of my employees, he made a sandwich with canned cat food, soap, and something unimaginably spicy that caused me to spew all over my office and laptop. I fired him. Now everyone is treating me like a monster. FML
Today, I was fired because a 10-year-old shat his pants and couldn't follow directions. FML
Today, while babysitting my neighbors' kids, their oldest son used a paint pen on the carpet. The boy blamed me and I got fired. He's only 3 and can barely talk. FML
Today, I lost my job as a pre-school teacher. The school had to shut down and may be facing legal issues. Our head teacher's super spoiled bully of a son (who sided with him), harshly picked on and hurt a girl classmate, who happened to be the only granddaughter of the school's greatest benefactor, who's greatly wealthy. FML
Today, I got in an argument with my boss and I dared him to fire me because he has always said he couldn’t run the shop without me. Turns out he was just being nice all this time, my job could in fact be done by his 14 year-old niece with no training in two thirds the time. Yes, he fired me. FML

Obviously that kid needs special help and your class is not the environment for him. The school system is failing him for not getting him the help he needs. I’m so sorry they fired you over that, and I agree - you should take legal action, especially as I’m sure all his transgressions are well-documented. You can try r/askalawyer on Reddit and see what advice you get on what your options may be. You can also call a local lawyer for a likely free consultation. Good luck, and that really sucks.

my brother used to get thrown out of class and asked to not go to his school due to howboften he "acted out". he has Aspergers and ADHD. wound up out of the public school system almost had to send him 3 hours away. he got accepted into the catholic system and they got him a helper no strings attached. get a lawyer task around and do what you can to protect yourself and find help for the child and family, chances are he isn't on the right meds and doesn't have the right help.

OMG WTF. That's literally all I can think of. You do NOT deserve to be fired for protecting your class. That kid needs to be thrown into a padded room. How old is he? Just... wow.
