Today, I found out my boyfriend of almost two years had kept nude photos and videos of his ex, whom he couldn’t seem to let go of from the start. We’re locked into a pricy apartment lease together, and I don’t have anywhere I can go. Thanks babe, love you. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my boyfriend and I broke up because he won’t stop inappropriately talking to other girls on social media. We live together and have 6 months left on our apartment lease. FML
Today, after moving miles to be with my boyfriend, I logged onto his computer just in time to see his other girlfriend had sent naked pictures. FML
Today, my boyfriend sent me a nude picture. I would have been fine with it if he hadn't taken it in his ex-girlfriend's room. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 6 months was showing me his new phone. He accidentally opened his gallery, which contains 3 photos: one of his motorcycle, one of his new game console, and a naked photo of his ex. FML
Today, I found out that my landlord is sleeping with my girlfriend, and he won’t let me out of my lease. FML
Today, I went through my boyfriend’s emails and found out that he cheated on me the day before he asked me to move in with him. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me, claiming moving in was a bad idea and he is the type who needs his privacy. It was his idea to move in, he had to convince me. Now we are stuck, under lease together for the next 6 months. FML
Today, I found an eviction notice at the apartment my boyfriend and I share. I always give him my share of the rent, and he pays it. Or so I thought. He’s been using our rent money to shower his side chick with gifts and expensive dinners. The worst part? The girl is my 18 year-old sister. He’s 34. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend of almost two years has been cheating on me with his ex. They had a horrible, abusive relationship and she even stabbed him at one point. I got him out of that situation and almost went broke doing that. FML
Today, I found out my boyfriend has to picture someone else when we have sex. The most recent: my roommate. FML

I don't see the problem. I've been given that sort of content as a gift, personally I get rid of it after the relationship because it seems like the moral thing to do. Though if I hadn't it doesn't seem like it should be a relationship deal breaker.

OK 1: I'm 48 and been around MANY blocks. 2: I have photos of old boyfriends. So what? It's not because I'm pining for any of them. But the fact still stands, snooping in his business is not ok.

OK first, his phone is his private business and snooping almost always leads to trouble. Second, it is NOT her place, or anyone else's, to delete *anything* off his phone. The best thing is ask *without accusing* why he still has those pics and videos. Ask *politely* that they be deleted, not giving an ultimatum. If he agrees, cool. If not, then ask why he's not willing to delete them. If he's really that hooked on her, then your best bet is to be a roommate until you can find other arrangements. it is possibly he simply forgot they were there. it's best not to jump to conclusions without talking with him first. Now if he gets defensive, *that* is your red flag, not that they still exist.
