Anonymous · 12 October 2025, 09:00 Unprepared Today, during a job interview, I was asked to describe myself in three words. My mind went blank, so I panicked and blurted out, “Hungry, sleepy and… flexible?” The interviewer raised an eyebrow and said, “That's not the worst answer I've ever gotten but… come on.” I didn’t get the job. Driri · 31 July 2021, 08:00 Quickfire round Today, I had a panel job interview with 3 people. My nerves got the best of me, especially when they asked me about my weaknesses. I gave them an answer, but they kept bombarding me with additional follow-up questions that I couldn’t think of the answers to. It got so bad, I was reduced to tears. Anonymous · 4 September 2024, 22:00 ·Australia Honest Today, I had a job interview that I really wanted to nail. Everything was great until the interviewer asked me why I left my last job. I meant to say, "I felt it was time for a new challenge," but instead I said, "I felt tired of pretending to care." The look on their face was priceless. Needless to say, but I don't think I'll get the job. FML I agree, your life sucks 141 You deserved it 572 2 comments Share

A huge portion of job interviews is being distinctive and making a connection. That answer probably helped more than standard vanilla answers.
