Today, I wanted to pack my lunch with some of my homemade meatloaf leftover from last night's dinner, but I couldn't find it anywhere in my fridge. Later in the evening, my boyfriend's parents invited us over for dinner. They served meatloaf. The meatloaf they stole from my fridge last night when they visited. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, after I packed my lunch last night and put it in the fridge, I grabbed my bag and left for work. At lunchtime, I opened it and found an empty container. I'd packed the container but left the food in the fridge. FML
Today, after 30 minutes of pre-heating the oven to make a special meatloaf for my husband's birthday, I remembered that I had hidden the cake in there. FML
Today, my parents were out and about, leaving me alone in the house. They said they would leave some lunch for me. I couldn't find it. After telling them when they got home, my mom got huffy and showed me that it was in a place I would have never thought to look. She then got even more mad when I was annoyed by this. FML
Today, I went to put a lasagna in the oven for dinner. I was greeted by a revolting scent of a chicken-soup and biscuits boxed dinner. The fridge apparently was too full for my brother to put it away inside, so he covered it up and forgot about it in the oven. We made that dinner two weeks ago. FML.
Today, I came back to my apartment to see that my roommate had left out bread, deli meat, and cheese on the counter, so I made myself a sandwich. When she came back, she informed me that she found bugs in the fridge and took out all the food she thought would be contaminated. FML
Today, I went to work. All day, all I wanted to eat was my favorite cheese, which was waiting for me at home. I came home and someone had eaten it, then put the empty wrapper back in the fridge. FML
Today, I took my lunch to work and put it in the office fridge. At noon, I opened the fridge and couldn't find it anywhere. I checked every shelf twice before realizing I'd put it in the freezer section by mistake. My sandwich was completely frozen. FML
Today, I went to visit a friend I hadn't seen in ages who lives alone out in the country. I arrived and found the front door unlocked but no one was home. I went in anyway and helped myself to some food. Then a family I had never seen before came in, and I realized it wasn't my friend's house. FML
Today, for what has seemed to be the hundredth time, my labeled bagged lunch was stolen from the fridge at my workplace. I stormed into my boss's office ready to complain, only to find him eating it. FML
Today, a coworker threw my lunch in the trash. They'd just got back from holidays, and I use the same containers they do. My leftovers "looked like something they'd eat", so they thought it was something they'd forgotten before going on holidays. It was leftovers that I'd been spacing out, trying to make last till payday. FML

They can't possibly think you don't know. Either 1: they think they're being funny 2: this is a display of dominance, "we've stolen from you and are rubbing your face in it. We know you wont do anything". 3: they are trying to force an argument between your partner and yourself, banking on your partner rejecting your ridiculous accusation of meatloaf theft. part of me is like "... how do you know? and how much leftover meatloaf did you have, for it to be used again as a meal for a few people?" also, for some reason if it was stolen, i'm assuming the kid stole it, for some ******* reason, and whoever made dinner might've just been like "oh, suddenly theres leftover meatloaf, better serve that" rather than a collaborative effort to steal from you and rub it in your face. also, maybe they are aliens, unsure of your food intake requirements, so rather than study, they just stole your already made food and presented it to you.
